Tenacity-class Missile Flagship (Old)

Description
Quartofel Space Technologies proudly presents it's brand new flagship: Tenacity. Ship entirely designed to be practical and able to take a really serious beating without much result in ship's performance.

Tenacity outside hull is made entirely out of heavy armor, as well as interior in important places such as around reactors, gyroscope room and Combat Information Center. Ship is heavily armed, but lacks agility. It's designed rather for holding dominance in space than for chasing down retreating ships.

It's equipped with 4 Large Grid Small Thruster Kinetic Based (LG.ST-KB) missile launch tubes, which are it's main offensive weapon. They offer TOW guidance for first locking on target, and then, every missile will lock on target automaticly. They have over 9km range. All over ship's hull anti-fighter/projectile batteries are present. They won't scratch large ship, but should take out any fighters, most missiles and meteors.
Ship comes equipped with standard issue gatling turrets and missile turrets, with individual cargo bays, to prevent disabling turrets after potential main cargo bay destruction.

Currently Quartofel Space Technologies struggle with malfunctioning software for 4 Large Grid Gravity Drive Stone Filled TOW missiles (LG.GD-SF). They're mounted on ship, but not fully operational at the moment. We're terribly sorry about that inconvenience, and we'll put our greatest effort into making them fully operational soon. You'll find more information about this weapon system below 'In a nutshell' section.

Flagship is equipped with Gravity Shield System for dealing with gravity-based weapons and with Auto-Repair System wired with every thruster on ship, making Tenacity really hard to immobilise even under harsh combat situations. Decoy Deployment System also allow to distract enemy turrets, or draw enemy fire off another ships in customer's fleet. Additionaly ship is equipped with Targeting Scrambler System which draws enemy fire on heavily armored areas of ship instead of important component's like turrets or engines. Ship's interior is guarded by 8 interior turrets.

CIC is filled with monitors providing handy data about ship status, and cameras hidden in hull around the ship allows controlling ship even with disabled 3rd person viev. Ship is fully pressurized, and fitted with multiple interior airlocks to counter potential breaches. Also, our labs proven that Tenacity is fully Clang-proof and survival ready!

Ship comes with all A-F/P and interior turrets loaded with 25 mags (total of about 4k), and 3,5k missiles/ammo crates onboard, as well as components for 24 LG.ST-KB missiles and 15k steel plates for feeding Auto-Repair System.
In a nutshell:

Weapons systems:
24x Gatling Turret (with individual cargo)
8x Missile Turret (with individual cargo)
A-F/P Batteries
4x LG.ST-KB TOW/Guided Missile Launch Tubes
4x LG.GD-SF Torpedo

Powerplant:
8x Large Reactor;
2x Small Reactor Cluster;

Defensive systems:
Gravity Shield System
Decoy Deployment System
Targeting Scrambler System
Auto-Repair System
Emergency Autopilot

Storage:
Individual Turret Cargo;
4x Large Cargo Container;

Subsystems:
High Capacity Batteries
2x Gravity Generator (0.6G onboard gravity)
2x Medbay
4x Cryo Pod
2x Oxygen Generator
Maintenance Projector
Combat Information Center
Short Range Antenna
Long Range Antenna
Distress Beacon
6x Camera
2x Connector

LG.GD-SF torpedoes are really deadly weapon. They can shred entire ships when used with speed mod, and will deal major damage to the target when on clear SE. And more importantly to survival - they're dirt cheap in comparsion to damage they deal. The whole idea is that items dropped from destroyed cargo container keep container's momentum. And this type of torpedo happen to have about 50k worth of stone in stacks of 4k-10k. On impact, stones are released and clip into enemy ship structure. And suddenly there is no more enemy ship. With speed mod it penetrates OVER 50 LAYERS OF HEAVY ARMOR.
Modestly saying it's probably one of the best deadliness-to-cost ratio weapons created.

Scripts used:
Rdav's Missile script (It's awesome, you should try it!)
Whip's Auto Door/Airlock script
Custom LCD script by MMaster
Phil's Ship Diagnostics script (Limited to report screen due to lag generation)
Easy Automation (Only onboard, no function attached to it)

Really? You'd do that? It would be amazing! :D

Me or whip would be happy to set them up for you if you want :)

I give up. Torpedoes are officially unguided.
Quartofel  [author] 17 Jul, 2016 @ 10:49pm
Torpedoes are semi-functional now and guided missiles still work nicely, but sometimes if you launch too many, script crashes and have to be re-compiled again. That's the main issue. And still nobody answered on how to wire more than 4 projectiles to Rdav's system.

Totally understand, RDav's scripts are fantastic. Looking good regardless!

@THE CHURROSAUR Whip's scrpt is very good but it requires more complex setup and more parts. I like keep things simple so they're hard to get totally destroyed. And simple things are usually cheap, and you want things cheap in survival. If Rdav's script won't get fixed anytime soon I'll switch missile system to Whip's.

try whiplash's missile script if you're running into trouble. It's the same thing but a little more versatile

Well you did great and keep posting. I typically go through my blueprints once a month and remove any blueprints that have less than 10 subscribers to help keep the clutter down on the workshop.

Thank you Darth, that's first time I've published anything on Workshop to be honest.
