Crimson Tooltip

Well, it works now, except that the crimson does not look anything like in the pictures. Maybe the game update messed with the way colours are described ? It's still a dark red, but it's much tackier than in the pictures.

I managed to make it work.

1) In your mod folder, open jk_crimson_tooltip.mod.mod with Notepad++

2) You'll see this :

tags=
{
graphics tooltip }

3) It needs to be written like this :

tags=
{
graphics tooltip
}

4) Save and quit, and then open jk_crimson_tooltip.zip with 7zip or WinRar or other

5) You'll see two files named descriptor.mod

6) Delete one of the two files

7) Open the other one. Its content is identical to the one of jk_crimson_tooltip.mod.mod

8) Apply the same modification as you did for jk_crimson_tooltip.mod.mod

9) Save

10) Enjoy your fantastic crimson tooltip !

Don't know if you'd be willing to give us a direct download for this mod

This mod is broken and doesn't show up when activated due to CK2 changing it's compatibility with my texture file. I've updated the file on my end but when I try to upload the update nothing happens. I've spent over an hour, not willing to invest more time in a broken Workshop system. This mod is broken until someone can offer a mod-updating solution.

Thank you for the feedback. Loads and works perfectly for me. Without knowledge on why mods are crashing for some people or how to make it crash myself it'll be hard for me to edit this mod to comply. They messed something up in the 2.8 update for Jade Dragon, 99% of all mods crashes. This mod works for me but still, just thought I should inform you guys.

So far, every single mod has had to be updated or it crashes the game, both on this and EU4. Dunno why. Wish it wasn't like that. It got in the way of me starting my next game lol.

Why? Does it need it?

Will this be getting updated for 2.8?

I see, you want it only slightly transparent. I compared both semi-transparent and opaque and the red doesn't work like the velvet in that way, sorry. Needs to be opaque.
