Description

A recreation of the classic vanilla Gmod map gm_construct set in the middle of a war.
This map was originally created for the Aftermath Revolution TDM servers but can be used for any gamemode you like.

Note: Requires Counter-Strike: Source content for certain textures and props!

If you are having trouble finding the map, look for dm_deconstruct in the "Half-Life 2: Deathmatch" category

Gameplay features:

Large map
Multiple buildings and underground tunnels
Spawn areas for two teams on different sides of the map
Above ground area inspired by gm_construct
Great for TDM-like gamemodes
AI nodes

Technical Features:

HDR support and cubemaps
Soundscapes, 3D skybox, lighting and fog
Ground AI nodes including climb, jump, and cover nodes
40 total spawnpoints
Optimization
Uses HL2 and CS:S content (CS:S required)
Not a gm_construct edit, fully recreated from scratch

@Roddler I would, but I made this like 9 years ago with a certain server in mind where weapon spawns weren't necessary, I wasn't thinking about HL2:DM or other deathmatch games at the time. You could probably use an addon to make your own item spawns that load on map start.

can you actually put weapon spawns and make the ammo resupplys actually work so that it actually can be a deathmatch map instead of it being a fancy sandbox map with "dm_" instead of "gm_" in the start of the map name
