Wall Mount Battery - A Single PowerCell Solution for Survival

Description
What this Adds

Adds the block "Wall Mounted Battery" for both LARGE and SMALL grids.
Places like an interior light/control-panel, and acts like a miniature battery.

What for?
If you want to power a grid, the minimum is a battery, reactor, or solar panel.
For large grid, that's a huge amount of resources: (120 power cells/100 reactor components/or a billion solar cells)
Now, it only takes 3-Steel Plates, 2-Construction Components, a Computer, and ONE Power Cell. (Display optional).

Functionality:
-Provide minimal power to a grid for minimal cost.
-Moving Cargo Crates via connectors
-Welder/Grinder attachments via connectors
-Shifting Uranium through un-powered conveyors. (i.e. "jumpstarting" ships)
-New balanced update also enables use for simple drones! (Will overload with just only one battery, but it can work)

"Can I use this in my own worlds/blueprints/modpacks?"
Absolutely! This was mainly for my own enjoyment; I don't see why you should be limited by that.
If you re-upload as a stand-alone, change something for a reason :P

Alternate version to use with Phoenix's Discharged Power Cells found here:

BIG THANKS to:
roypai for finding the longstanding BlockCategories.sbc mistake!

They have the same weight of being full, so you can test your ship's load capacity without dealing with numbers on the wiki and spawning in components to fill them.

lol - np - I'm working at getting a scrap-scavenge world setup for a DS - trying to make it user friendly :)

Okay, that wasn't so bad to fix! Bit of a walk down memory lane. Also found out that it's sketchy adding a block to an existing variant + menu (such as if I added this to the default battery+.) So the block just shows up under the "power" tab as originally intended!

I remembered trying to get that to work for far too long until I eventually gave up on it. So thanks again for pointing that out. A six year old mystery solved!

Aaaah, that completely sounds like something I would have done. That always kinda bugged me that it didn't show up there. I might have a crack at correcting that (if I still have the right files and everything to update it.)

Thanks, roypai, for pointing that out to both myself and Origin_Alpha_43!

I was using Origin_Alpha_43's variant and it looks like BlockCategories.sbc needs the slashes flipped from \ to / to get it to show up in the G-Menu:
<string>BatteryBlock/WallMountBattery_LargeGrid</string>
<string>BatteryBlock/WallMountBattery_SmallGrid</string>

i love this! can i tweak this with credit to function as a reactor that uses power cells (think a battery pack you have to slap AA batteries into) lol

right? Your ship is screwed... because your last battery just got shot... you happen to have one battery cell in your inventory... slap a battery on the wall turn off the thrusters and keep firing you fools!

I love how simple this mod is yet so god damn crucial for survival gameplay.
