"I hunt vampires," said Van Helsing.

"You're funny," laughed Rebecca.

"No, really. I have stakes and a crossbow." Van Helsing removed the crossbow from his bag to show he was not lying, and found that everyone in the room was staring at him.

"What? Did something happen?"

"That guy has weapons!" yelled someone from the other side of the room.

Everyone started yelling and running away from Van Helsing.

"Where is he?" Van Helsing asked, looking around the room to see who had the weapons.

Finding himself along in the room, Van Helsing realized that he was the man with weapons who had scared everyone off.

Idiots! How else was he going to hunt vampires? Besides garlic. And crosses. And running water. Plus you had to invite them inside.

Van Helsing sighed heavily.

"Meeting single women is hard!" Van Helsing declared.
