Lost Valley of the Dinosaurs

Description
Play against your friends in this intense boardgame.

Game invented date: 1985


Short game - 1 coin winner
Long game -3 coins winner
How to play

1. Players must decide who will go first ( Coin flip )

2. Before the players role they must take a card from the deck,read it aloud,then follow the card instructions.After doing so place the card in a discard pile.

3. After reading and following the card instructions they can roll the dice and move.

4. Players can't enter or exit the swamp on any dice throw.The only way out is for you to aquire a special escape card or to land on the blue exit swamp arrows.

5.Dinosaurs lairs can only be escaped if there are no dinosaurs protecting the lair or if you get a special card.However,the player can only escape behind the trails of the defending dinosaur.
{Notice} if another player gets a special dragon card they may pick you up and feed you to the dragon

6. If a player has a member in the swamp and a player on land you decide who to move.Players in the swamp can only move 1 space per role or you can move the member on land to the number ammount you got on the dice.

7.Explorers can only move across water by a river crossing ( example: Fallen down tree)

8.Lava must be placed connecting with one-another.Lava can only be spilled if you aquire a Lava card


Cards

"Pteranodon swoops!..."
The player playing this card can choose to use the PTERANODON to move one of his players to a good,safe empty space or to move one of his opponents players to a dangerous space.

The pteranodon can save players from swamps and dinosaur lairs! however,if you use it to escape from the swamp you must be placed on the exit arrow in the swamp.

"The swamp monster is disturbed"

The Swamp monster only moves on the swamp spaces with arrows

"One member of your group loses his way"
The card puts one of your members into the swamp with a total of 3 spaces ahead of the swamp monster.

Members eaten by swamp monster and put out of play

"Escape the swamp"

This card allows you to place a member stuck in the swamp to the nearest blue exit arrow.

Dinosaur cards

Dinosaurs can move anywhere exept from the swamp or the temple.
If a dinosaur moves to the same space as a member they will capture them resulting in the team losing a team-member until they manage to escape.

"Dinosaurs fight"

If the player who draws this card has a member stuck in a lair he may move them one space out of the lair.
If you player who drew this card doesn't have anyone in a lair he must move another players member one space out.

"You have discovered a chart of a secret Passage"
If a player draws this card they may keep it until they reach a tunnel.
Going to the tunnel allows you to travel to the another tunnel on the map instantly.

"You have found a gun..."
This card allows the player to equip a gun with 3 bullets,each bullet fired will scare adinosaur and will move it back 1 space

You could use all 3 bullets on one dinosaur and move it back 3 spaces.

Your expedition is short of water..."

Throw a single dice and try to get a high number.If you fail to reach a near by water source one of your members will die.All treasure on the member will stay at the area of death.


Added information

One explorer can only carry 1 coin at a time

Explorers who have treasure may use two dices to move

Explorers captured or killed with treasure have to leave the treasure where they died.

Abandoned treasure can be reclaimed by anyone who lands on it.



If all cards are used reshuffle and use again!
