Normandy (Caen, France)

Description
Hello,

this is my first map, based on the coastline near Caen (France, Normandy).

It offers a coastline with shipping routes, a river that flows across a bay to the sea and minimal road and rail links to the outside, in order to ensure as much prestine area to build on as possible.
The bay and coast area are detailed with german bunkers and a small abandoned fishing village, however, those are available only in a historical context and are not a 1 to 1 copy of the reality.

Have fun and a good day.

Hallo,

@Bastiat
Just tested it without purchasing any extra square and no problems for me. The used road is from the highway-road-type-section (highway ramp) and counts as a highway.

There is a problem with the external connection here. The road that comes in from the north along the coast is not a Highway and thus does not register as a connection in the early game.

This prohibits ANY industry demand from forming at all. Literally zero. I ran it with the mods for infinite money and everything unlocked from the start so I could purchase the squares and build a new intersection off the southern highway and that caused the Industry demand to start. At that point, my unemployment rate was 72%! LOL. You should have seen how happy those little cims were to get timber industry jobs!!
