Introduction

The Blue Medallions are part of a minigame within the main game of Resident Evil 4. You first get this assignment by seeing the note pinned up on a tree in the farm, right below a blue medallion. When you reach the Merchant, he asks you if you have seen the Blue Medallions and that if you shoot ten, he'll give you a specialized handgun. If you shoot all fifteen, he will give the gun with a free upgrade in firepower.

Some are a little hidden, but as long as you picked up the blue letter in the farm the locations should be on your map.
About the Blue Medallions (File)
Supposedly left by the Merchant, it describes the locations of the blue medallions and how there is a reward for destroying them. Upon picking the note up, the locations will be marked on the player's map by small blue dots.

Location: The note is found in plain sight tacked on a tree in the Farm area in Chapter 1-1. It glows a distinct blue color, and the first Blue Medallion is hanging from a branch on the same tree.

''15 blue medallions...
7 in the farm... 8 in the cemetery...

For those of you who destroy 10 or more will be awarded...

(The rest is illegible.)''

Locations
Specifically there are 7 in the farm and 8 in the graveyard. Total of 15 Medallions.

Once you pick up the note, the locations will be marked on your map. There are 7 In the Farm and 8 in the Cemetery.

  • Hanging from one of the suspension posts just before you reach the second gap.
  • Hanging underneath the bridge after the second gap.

Special Reward (Punisher)

The four main properties of the Punisher are all but identical with those of the standard issue Handgun, with the exception of higher upgrade prices. Thus, you can calculate for yourself how much the special property of this weapon is worth to you. In theory, hitting several opponents with a single bullet sounds tempting. In practice, such an alignment is hard to bring about. This weapon uses Handgun Ammo.

Description: (Exclusive upgrade) Now this 9mm handgun will blast a hole through 5 enemies!

Buy price: 20,000 pesetas

Sell price: 9,500 pesetas

Exclusive upgrade: (40,000 pesetas.) After the upgrade, a single shot can hit up to 5 enemies lined up behind one another.

It's worth mentioning that getting all 15 nets you a free firepower upgrade
