The year is 2035, it's day 789. 789 days since the fall of the island of Altis.

The outbreak of this virus was said to have come from Chernarus. How it got to Altis is unknown, but its effects were soon recognized as its people turned into bloodthirsty monsters, murdering all those who got in the way. Realizing that the island was lost NATO forces consolidated their resources and built a wall around the city of Athira and brought any remaining survivers to the city. Sealing themselves off from the rest of the island, they were able to establish a safe haven inside the walls. NATO though quickly realized that this virus was going global and ordered forces stationed in their relative countries to follow their lead and built walled in cities of their own. The result was a network that allowed supplies to be transported between cities within a few days, allowing most cities to completly seal themselves off from the outside as they didn't have a need to send people out to gather supplies.

This caused many who we're barred from entry to band together and form gangs. They would become to be know as Raiders. Relying on mostly on guerrilla tactics, they have been known to perform small scale attacks on rare gathering teams and on gate guards. Although usually small in numbers, they are still feared for their true numbers are unknown.

You're Echo Team, one of the detachments that was stationed on Athira when the virus struck. Made up of a ragtag group of soilders, they are currently on patrol in central Athira acting as a police force for the island. After being on their feet for 6 hours, they are now just preparing to come in for the night...
