Description
This mod reduces the hero cap down from 10 per type to a single hero of each type for both player and AI factions.

e.g. only 1 Banshee, 1 Necro, 1 Vamp and 1 Wight King max for Vampire Counts.

When enabled for an existing campaign it will not remove any heroes already above the cap, so if you have 3 Banshees you will still have three, however if one gets killed (not just wounded) then you will not be able to recruit another one.

My testing has shown that it does seem to limit the AI as well and reduces the hero spam significantly. Remember that if you run this mod with an existing campaign it will not remove already existing multiple heroes you have to kill them with a critical success assassination to get rid.

So far I have only tested it in a Vampire Counts campaign, let me know if there are problems on other races.

I like heroes but hero spam is too much, however I did not want to use one of the mods which limits hero abilities, just wanted to cut down the sheer amount of them spamming me, this mod makes the later stages of the game much much better. You also have a greater affinity for your heroes when there's only one Vampire or Wight King etc, I found it to be a more enjoyable experience when I tested it.

A version with "there can only be 2 or 3" would be nice too coz i think 1 is too low but thats just my opinion.

Firstly I think this great, at least in the early game, I think you've solved the horrid problem of agent spam that the game suffers from. I did however find in late game that the limit could have been increased to 2 or even maybe 3 agents per class. I just finished a campaign with over 100 units and only one wizard, felt odd.

no issues noticed here Jacko, thank you so much for this mod, the only extras i had in my last campaign were from confederations and perhaps the chaos army led by archaeon, My game would have been a cheap nightmare if everyone was spamming assassination/penalties without this mod ( only other mod I used was Radius)
