Description
In mid 1968, UP negotiated an agreement, along with D&RGW (Rio Grande), and AT&SF (Santa Fe), with Kaiser Steel to operate what was to be one of The United States first unit coal trains. The coal was loaded at Sunnyside, UT and Carbondale, CO, and was transported to Kaiser Steel mill in Fontana, California. In this Scenerio you will be driving the D&RGW SD40T-2 from Victorville To San Bernardino, CA. Over the AT&SF Portion with D&RGW equipment leased by UP, For use on the K-Train.




Requires Soldier Summit, And Cajon Pass.

You Had a runaway Rammy. That has happened there multipletimes. Do it again until you can safetly bring your train down the mountain without wiping out a whole town.

Nice steady Drive until the Drop into San bernardino Brakes would not respond though keyboard just kept hitting key until Emergency brakes applied. so not sure what went wrong everthing fine up until then. Thanks.

A very good, challenging scenario and the D brakes actually worked. The lack of AI traffic made the pass and SanBardo yard look like a ghost town, though......lol.

@darren.huntsman, @rlindor, when I've seen that it's because I don't have all the DLC the scenario needs. Unfortunately TS doesn't always say what DLC I do need, it just disables the "drive" option.

I don't know how feasible this is, but a similar route could be created from Sunnyside, UT to Helper, UT, where Soldier Summit could come into play. That would be awesome!

Good job. It's rare to see clean DRG&W locomotives. They allways were so grungy.
