Description
In this mod you'll play as Salamasina, Tafa'ifa of Samoa! At the heart of traditional Polynesia, Samoa has always been one of the major Polynesian cultural groups. In the nearly 3500 years the islands have been settled, they have been a focus of regional and international power struggles, emerging as a vanguard nation of the post-Colonial period.

Coming soon from Colonialist Legacies: South Africa, The Igorot, Papua, Salish

Coming soon from Senshi: Manchu, Evenks, Nenets

Features Custom Leader Music!

Leader: Salamasina

Navigator Isles: Coast and Ocean tiles in your territory act as sources of Fresh Water. Upon the discovery of The Wheel, embarked Workers may build Roads on Coast tiles.

Nifo'oti: Slightly cheaper than the Warrior, which it replaces, the Nifo'oti may embark immediately and receives the Amphibious promotion. In addition, it has access to the "Soga'imiti" promotion upon levelling up, increasing its combat strength by 20% when stationed adjacent to a source of Fresh Water.

Fale Tele: Unlike the Harbour, which it replaces, the Fale Tele is cheaper and available earlier, at Theology. In addition, it costs no maintenance and provides +1 Food on all Coast tiles when connected to the capital with roads.

My one big problem with this mod is that it plays only the basic game theme, over, and over, and over.

It's a really cool civ with the +1 food from coastal tiles. While 3-food coastal tiles are still not better than land tiles, they enable Samoa to use more tiles in coastal cities where other civilizations would only have "half a city". The Fale Tele also enables Samoa to settle locations that others have less use for, so it can make it easier to play a peaceful strategy. If the coast has sea resources like fish, the Fale Tele gets much butter because it affects those tiles too.
Everything works except the unique promotion, which does not seem to exist.
Grade: A+.

I found a very bad bug. I bought a worker to try and imporve tiles, but I counldn't build anything; no farms, no mines, nothing. Can anyone help?

At first I wasn't sure if I should add this civ because I found the coastal roads weird. Today I tried it though since I heard some good things about this. I love it, it's like Polynesia but different, and more my thing.

I wanted to report something though. I noticed the Fale Tele tooltip says it has maintenance cost eventhough the civilopedia says it doesn´t. Is that a graphical bug, is it intended or have I done something weird to not update the tooltip?

What's the music for this mod? It's so relaxing to listen to.

Exit to mainmenu then try again. If that fails restart the game. If all else fails Cultural Diversity should work: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=521664

Very cool addition. One thing I've noticed - after starting a game, the music never changes over from the title theme. Anyone else having this issue?

So why is the color scheme exactly the same as Malaysia? Kinda annoying
