Minor Transgression (Missionary Ship)

Minor Transgression was a missionary ship in service to the Covenant Navy. While not a warship, it played an important part in the start of the Human-Covenant war.

In 2525, Minor Transgression was a Kigyar (Jackal) crewed vessel with a Huragok (Engineer) and some Urugoy (Grunts). While on a scouting mission, it ran across a human ship, "This End Up" and Minor Transgression's Luminary mistook the sole Human onboard for a Forerunner artifact. Boarding the vessel and killing the human, they traced the ship's path from Harvest, a human colony, and there found what seemed to be hundreds of thousands of artifacts. However an ONI-lead team including Avery Johnson boarded and made a bloody first contact with the Covenant onboard, and Minor Transgression with destroyed with most onboard killed.

The missionary ship is made very simple with a cramped interior. While not a warship, it is armed with pulse lasers for light defense. It has radar and a jump drive.

(As seen on the HUD, this ship's shields give it 50k protection, mostly intended to protect the ship from debris while scavenging. Shields have a 2-minute full recharge.)
