You should have a system where one can earn negative relation point for each day that ships of other nations that have bad relations with the empire's territory their ships are in.

Even in the present Earth no country can really block the borders. Borders are more in the political sense.

Besides, rules and agreements were never about prevention, this one is no exception.

"It should be impossible to "Prevent" someone from entering your space."
Hyperlane exit + IFF-enabled minefields = better prevention than anyone ever managed on the ground.

If you ask me it's the mine fields that are missing in stellaris, not stealth. PI has just been having a blonde moment with this... for several years...

Should be updated

Any chance of an update for the latest version? (This one currently breaks A.I generation and completely nullifes the "There be dragons" start by making the dragon a hostile A.I empire with a random avatar and zero holdings along with deleting the dragon shortly after start.)

1 - Discovery but able to escape (Depending on the captain skil level in case of sciences ships and on the relative ship velocity calculated between the speed of the ship and the speed of the corvettes of the empire you're spying).
2 - Autodestruct to avoid capture (Calculated on the skill of the captain and/or on the relative happyness and loyalty of the empire in general. A low menium stability improve defections)
3 - Autodestruct but leave some proof (non conclusive but raise alarmness in the spied empire)
4 - Autodestruct or captured. Clear proof of spying. Depending on the actual status between empiires, gives cause to war or punitive damages before a war. And also gives a bad negative effect on nearby empires with close borders policy

Would be interesting to have spy ships also
