Mobile Planetary Base mk III - Small & Large Ship Combo Survival Base

Description
Based on the suspension frame I released last week and trying to continue the idea of a mobile base for suvival mode on planets that tries to avoid the 'usual' negatives of having a wheeled vehicle, while keeping the positives (power consumption mostly).

Please watch the video for a better idea of what to expect... as it stands currently there is a bit of a desync issue!

This uses 2 sets of suspension at different settings and levels to allow it to both handle well and also take some pretty extreme impacts - check the video for more info.

The blueprint to accompany the attached video from my YouTube channel!

My connectors and landing gears are locked. It flips right over if I remove the supports on the large grid...

Should still be doable, I assume you are locking connectors and landing gear in place? Force doesn't matter once they are locked, but will make things act weird if they aren't

I was able to get the large grid part of the design by going into creative mode in another world, pasting it there, then pressing Ctrl+X while looking at the large grid portion after disconnecting the pieces.

However, after finishing building the thing and connecting them together, when I remove the supports holding the whole thing to the ground, it just flips over right away... Could it be something to do with the default settings, the fact that my conncector strength is turned all the way up, or did a patch ruin it by changing the way things work?

I can't get the large grid part to work with a projector, even with a large grid projector. It says it's the wrong grid size. Could you upload the large grid version, that just has the large grid part? That would help tremendously.

It says it's a survival base but when I used a projector it gave me an error message about how it uses large grid items... Am I missing something here?

I made it, and was asked for it enough times following that it's actually up with just the frame as a seperate blueprint in my workshop :)

where did you get the base wheel frame from? or did you build it? this one handles better than most i have tinkered with. i was looking for a base wheeled frame to make my own base, and i was wondering where you got it.

The connector allows the small grid part of the ship to transfer and connect to the large grid parts. It's really hard to re-connect once detached as the large ship part is missing power - if you add a battery to it or a reactor you'll be able to power it up to reconnect :)

ok, i have one of these spawned. i like it, it very easy to get arund and steer for its size. so great job!

i have a question tho. i turned off power for a bit while doing other things. when i turned it back on, the refinery is nt connected to the rest fo the systems. i see a connector behind the glass in the back, and one side is green, the other red. is the conector there for a reason? and how do i reconnect it?
