Hi My name is MrGhost the creator of this addon and this is the first time making a map so you are bound to find errors in the map. Now for the story on how this came to be. It all started when I began to create my own gmod server "Johnson's 1942 Serious Military RP" which is nearly completed thanks to several months of alpha testing and elbow grease. During my journey I had used a number of maps to host the server like flatgrass, construct,and many others until I found "gs_bootcamp_pak" which was a retired server content map which was released to the workshop after the server group had disbanded for quite some time. The map is really nice it has a lot of stuff to do and it was very well planned out but I felt that it was missing some items or buildings that would make the map complete. Unfortunately many hours dedicating to Lua coding for the server and many other things I became lazy and pushed back the map to like the last thing for the server. Several months later the server production came to an all time low because there wasn't much to do on the server. With lack of content being produced and me getting bored of Lua coding I had finally decided to make the map. Now through this journey of making the map I have to give so much thanks to the people that make really good maps in the gmod community because it is not an easy task or trade to be good at. For the Basic layout of the map I was inspired by the boot camp in "Medal of Honor Pacific Assault' but slowly in the development of the map it began to evolve into its own thing which is good thing. I want to add more to the map like a hospital or make the paratrooper training look nicer but I can't at least right now.

Now for what you came here for the map "rp_1942_military_bootcamp" features

1. Proper lighting indoors and out

2. Gymnasium *With 2 basket ball courts, a room full of working treadmills, and a locker room*

3. Baracks

4. Armory

5. Jail or Brig *however you would like to call it

6. A small office house that I made for myself

7. A 2 story wooden house mainly for the officers but it can be reporposed for other uses.

8. A long wodden House meant for the Military Police

9. Working gate to regulate the flow of cars

10. Obsticale Course

11. Para-trooper Trainign Course *Incomplete due to vmf. faliure"

12. Airfeild with 3 main hangers and a administration building

A. Administration building is a two stroy building with the first floor like being a breifing room with a retractable screen if you would like to play movies on

B. Second floor is empty for you guys to build whatever you want in there

C. Air traffic Control Tower which is more of a watch tower if any thing

13. CQB Arena

14. Shooting range

15. Simulation arena *Which is a seperate floating place away from the main map that is to simulate a small town. There are teleporters on the map to take you there*

17. Grenade Toss.

18. Large grass runway incase of emergency landing or other events

I really hope you guys enjoy the map. Again this is my first map and please dont make the coments section a litteral flame war. Please leave a comment or some constructive critisim for me to read on my free time. Right now im very busy with college becuase finals are just two weeks away. I plan to make more maps in the furture becuase I now have this intrest in map making which for my next project I wanted to do the American Mexican Border for the rp people or just for sandbox. Feel free to shoot some Ideas out there.
