CONDOR - a heavily armored combatative insertion dropship - Small Vehicle

Condor's design focuses on endurance, manueverability and mission flexibility.

CONDOR is far from being a starter vehicle - it requires considerable resources and time to build. It's been designed for long-term purpose; to be a long lasting, enduring and reusable utilitarian dropship for your space based Capital Ship, for when the Dev's enable the whole Galaxy in Empyrion

Condor is fully dual-layer armored in light armor with a heavy armor skeleton. Weapon systems, critical systems are additionally armored and compartmentalized. Condor is designed to be still flight capable, after loosing both wings and sustain severe damage.

The pilots cockpit is also fully covered in our renown 360-save-your-soul encapsulation.

Condor can comfortably drop a half-squad in the midst of skirmishes, or act as a mobile base for prospecting, mining, scavanging and other missions.
It has a docking-clamp under each wing and under it's tail, and a small landing-platform on its back, to be able to transport several hoover/small vehicles.
[down the road, when the Dev's finally enable, that SV's and HV's can dock/carry each other ;-) ]

- 2 hours full-flight fuel endurance
- low center of weight allows to land on slanted surfaces of up to 45-degree angle
- able to leave 2g gravity-well from any angle of the Condor - even upside down!
- able to leave up to 7g gravity-well in standard position (down-thrust)
- 3 extra armored, hidden away, cargo containers for survival-gear (i.e. after a crash landing)
- compartmentalized and redundant systems and reactors.
- can comfortably carry 4 additional passengers - each seat with their own cargo containers, fridge, O2-refill stations
- cockpit is fully armored and only accessible from within the passenger cabin.
- 2 chin-mounted gatling guns
- 4 missile launchers - spaced out in X-configuration

- LOTS of cargo containers (around 34)
- plenty of fridges (around 17)
- 6 O2-refill stations (2 external)
- in-built SunBurn-spotlight arrays, illuminating whole surrounding of ship & landing-surface.

- 12 Fuel Tanks, 8 O2-tanks, 12 reactors, 115 thrusters, 20 RCS
- fuel-tanks and O2-tanks access' are additionally covered in light-armor for protection

corrected the amount of Cargo Containers - the game engine lists fridges as Cargo on the Control Panel's info screen :steammocking:
