Description
IMDC F-13 Kestrel Medium Interceptor

This interceptor is a work in progress featuring four gatling turrets and four static gatlings for mostly automatic air suppression, rendering it very dangerous for most, if not all enemy small grid ships. Due to the actual turrets big hitbox, the Kestrel is not able to land conventionally, it always needs a connector on the ground to reload and refuel. The Kestrel is able to hover in 1G without any hydrogen though.

With a dead weight of 25 tons this fighter is most agile and able to operate in space and atmosphere. It is only lightly armored, so be carefull. 3 Oxygen generators, large thrusters, hydrogen thrusters and a large generator highly improve its agility.

Point is, I couldn't update the F-13a because I uploaded from another computer, so sadly I had to create another workshop entry. But anybody who subscribes to the IMDC collection gets every new item in the set anyway.

Well, then you should subscribe to the newest version of it. You find it in the IMDC collection or my workshop.

Pretty sure I had this subscribed, since I used it for a comparison test against a fighter I built. Somehow ended up being unsubscribed, though I certainly didn't want to.

@ descend issue : This is a common bug ingame at the moment, save and hit quick load = solved. Its not this ship, its a known bug.

@JD.Horx - I can't get it to consistently do it either. Sometimes it resets when I leave and re-enter the cockpit, and sometimes it doesn't. It is multiplayer, so that could be part of the problem, but I don't have the same issue with other ships.

Thanks, but I'm not able to reproduce this issue you are having...
You can use one of the hotbar actions to deactivate the H2-Thrusters, then the ship should decent in atmosphere...

But you can roll it for 180 degree and use space bar for ascending.

Looks great and is very nimble. One problem I'm having - the ship really doesn't seem to want to descend. Pressing C causes the appropriate upwards ion thrusters to fire, but it seems to immediately be cancelled by downwards thrusters. Is there some kind of "atmospheric mode" I need to turn off?
