Description
This is a drivable 2006 Chrysler 300C SRT8 (Street & Racing Technology V8) from Need for Speed: Carbon. The car comes with the following features:

- 1 skin for the body: white (colorable)
- 1 skin for the wheels: white (colorable)
- 2 manual body groups: license_plate, spoiler
- 4 seats: driver and 3 passengers

Dynamic body groups (and what triggers them):
- damage_body (damage level 1 and higher - gray smoke)
- damage_windows (damage level 2 and higher - black smoke)
- shifter (gear shifting)
- steering_wheel (turning)

The non-dynamic body groups can be changed by pressing and holding the [C] key, right-clicking on the vehicle and selecting "Body Groups". Any dynamic body groups changes are retained as long as the vehicle is not used and (preferably) remains frozen with the Physgun.

Custom skin (single-player only)

A custom skin can be created using the skin template above. It must be converted to the VTF texture file format (using VTFEdit, for example) and saved as skin_0.vtf in the following directory:

\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\materials\models\red_hd_300c\skin_0.vtf

If the skin contains an alpha channel, only the opaque areas will be colorable with the Color tool.
The default white skin can be restored simply by removing or renaming the created VTF file.

---

SCars controls (default key mapping):

[W], [S] - accelerate, brake/reverse
[A], [D] - turn left, right
[SPACE] - handbrake
[SHIFT] - turbo
[E] - enter/leave
[N] - engine on/off
[F] - headlights on/off
[H] - horn
[V] - change camera
[LEFT ALT] - change seat

Updated the steering wheel animation (it's now smoother) and added a skin template.

Nice job! Really like the new damage feature and the working steering wheel, keep up the good work!

@Kerouha

It's just another limitation of the Source Engine. One of quite many, unfortunately. The normal shader parameter for transparent textures causes them to disappear when close to a light source (lamps, lights or the flashlight). The damage_body is a separate mesh using a transparent texture rather than a skin, so it's affected as well. A more detailed explanation of the issue can be found here .

As for the rest of the cars in the SCars HD series, I've recently started updating them with new features and improved shader effects, beginning with the oldest ones.

Damaged skin is actually a good addition, would be great to see it on MW/Carbon vehicles. But why it looks so pixelated on the picture?
