Description
GODS OF WAR

THIS MOD IS PATCH-17 COMPATIBLE ONLY
To switch to 'Patch-17': Go to your Steam page and then select LIBRARY. Right click on your game 'ROME II' on the left. Go to properties. Select BETAS in the pop-up screen. In here you can select 'patch_17'.

This mod adds new religious buildings to all factions, giving important military bonuses.

Trade in horses (war steeds), amber and gold is now possible and needed to upgrade certain temples to their highest level.

Temples of war gods give 1 unit experience at levels 3 and 4. Level 5 gives 3 unit experience in the province and 1 unit experience (additional) in all your regions.

New edicts:
- Conscription: +2 unit recruitment army
- Forced conscription: +4 unit recruitment army
- Naval conscription: + 2 unit recruitment navy
-Growt stimulation: +10 growth (not for Hellenic cultures, Egypt and Carthage)

New buildings that can upgrade units:
- Horse Trader: highest level can upgrade cavalry to level II horses (only in province), trade 'war steeds' needed.
- blacksmith armour: highest level can upgrade armour to level 'silver' (province only), trade 'iron' needed.
- blacksmith weapons: highest level can upgrade weapons and shields to level 'silver' (province only), trade 'iron' needed.
- spy centre: gives extra spy levels upon recruitment in all your provinces and security against hostile agent actions in province.
-training grounds: +XP for new recruits, lvl 2 = +1XP, lvl3 = +2XP; growth in experience while stationed in area; + recruitmentcapacity.

The newest upgrade of Creative Assembly is rather drastic. This is why all around the community modders are working very hard to keep their mods working as they did before. Many tables have been changed. The changes, made by Creative Assembly, forces modders around the world to alter their mods, which in some cases could take some time. I can only hope for you, subscribers, to have a little patience. I'm working very hard to get my mods to be compatible with the newest 'patch/DLC'. The upgrades should be launched by 16th of DECEMBER.

This mod should be compatible with all mods, except DeI because they use a different building chain. I am working, however, on a mod that is compatible with that mod. If this mod is multiplayer compatible I must say that I really don't know, because I never play multiplayer games. Worth to try, I think

Ik heb je modlist bekeken, lijkt me ook zeker realisme toevoegend aan het spel. Zit je ook op FB? Ik kan je mn modlist eens sturen, ik heb samen met een game vriend de afgelopen 2 jaren diverse mod combinaties bekeken en de actuele lijst is toch wel erg goed voor RTW2. En als je mod ready is wil ik hem graag proberen! goed weekend!

Ik begrijp je frustratie als het lijkt (of is) dat bestanden beveiligd zijn of niet compatible. Ik speel RTW2 sinds het begin en werd ziek van elke patch tot aan de 17e patch, maar met de EE en DEI 1.1 met een reeks van mods ben ik wel tevreden. Doch verbetering is zeker nog mogelijk!! Jouw mod voor meer nut van tempels lijkt mij een uitstekende aanvulling op DEI, heb je al eens contact gehad met die groep modders? Ik ken ze zelf niet, ik ben enkel een groot voorstander van gameplay verbetering, visueel, historisch en realisme. Er miste toch nog een hoop in het vanille spel. En voorheen speelde ik meestel de TW series (Empire en Napoleon) met de Darthmods. Ook erg plezierig. Ik dank je voor je inzet! Ik hoop dat een merge met DEI mogelijk zal zijn?! Jouw waarde toevoeging lijkt mij echt een extra waarde voor DEI.

Personaly I think my mods are quite good and I only use them, besides some mods that change faction colours, better AI recruitment and better cavalry speed. Therefore my mods are made compatible with those. The mods I use are all in my mod collection. Among them a mod that makes it possible to recruit 52 units (200 men/unit) in a roman legion, wich I think is closest to realism. Another version will be launched soon wich makes it possible to recruit 60 units for Rome with 160 men/ unit. Ik denk dat jij wel een fan bent van DeI, maar ik zeker niet. Ik vindt het een rotspel ! Ik probeer deze mod compatibel te maken, maar tot hier toe is nog weinig gelukt. Ik vrees dat ik de handdoek in de ring ga moeten gooien, want hun gebouwenlijn lijkt ergens beveiligd. Ik blijf toch proberen. Doe ze de groeten ginder in Nederland

@Regnator Haha, ik heb nog even geduld natuurlijk! I will follow your mod closely. I hope it will be compatible with DEI 1.1 and other mods in my mod list to make RTW2 the best historical realistic game ever. Which other mods do you use? I try to make a complete mod list to get the best out of RTW2 and mods.
