This mod is no longer in development.

Some of your tamed creatures now have the ability to "craft" items in their inventory while wandering, similar to the way the dung beetle creates oil and fertilizer from feces. For example your pet scorpion can turn two spoiled meat into two narcotics after fifteen minutes of wandering.

Other Pet crafters currently include:

Angler: 2 pearls > 2 angler gel
Direwolf: 2 charcoal > 2 pelt
Kairuku: 2 angler gel > 2 organic polymer
Megalodon: 20 oil > 1 shark tooth
Procoptodon: 2 rare mushmooms > 2 rare flowers
Rhino: 20 crystal > 1 rhino horn
Spider: 2 spoiled meat > 2 narcotics
Toad: 2 chitin > 5 cementing paste
Turtle: 2 sparkpowder > 5 chitin/keratin

This mod is clean and stackable.

The Mod does not work. Only spawns in the creatures but does not do crafting. :steamfacepalm:

that would be great, so long as they have food they can make their resources, and with more creatures theres more options to make some more animals create things. like maybe taming a diplocaulus can produce leech blood. ^_^ I know it will be a lot of work and take some time, and i encourage you take as much time as you need. The Dev Kit will be updating again soon with even more creatures and the winter event coming too, so lots of exciting things on the way ^_^

@kisston I will have to make a different mod, since the dev kit deleted the original files for this mod. How would you all feel about having pet's craft more like the Achatina, meaning that they no longer need a reagent to "cook" their items?

Seems that recent updates may have broken this mod, pity i was looking forward to not clubbing penguins for poly.

@Protech I have not been able to test on SE, but I believe it won't work. The mod depends on the map having the same spawn zones as TheIsland. I will see if there is a fix for this.
