Description
Brief backstory:
You where knocked out and kidnapped by thieves. After what seemed like an eternity bound in the trunk of their car, they finally draged you out and dumped inn a hole. you woke up later with little memory of what happened before and with all of your valuables stolen.
With no way to get back out you are forced to explore this abandoned place in search of an escape route.
And with no flashlight, you must avoid the darkness and the creatures that might hide inn it..

Info:
This is a horror and puzzle map with much more focus on atmosphere than jumpscares (which are largrely absent).
The puzzles should be fairly simple in nature and some hints are given on what to do.
I recommend sitting in a dark room, it helps you see in the dark better and it help with immersion
the HUD is disabled aswell as the flashlight
The map is designed as a singleplayer only map



General rules:
NO FLAHSLIGHT, this one might seem a bit harsh but the map is designed around this features so you should not worry about it. (its semi disabled with a crude workaround script and you can still turn it on briefly, resist the temptation to use it ;P)

No sprinting, it messes with the pacing of some map events, i recommend not using it.

No nocliping, it should not be necessary at all. be patient if you struggle with some of the puzzles :P

Some info and notes:
I cant promise part 2 wont ever come. I haven't worked on it or with the editor in years, alltough i am intrested in taking the project up again, both working on part 2 aswell as expanding and refining part 1

According to the feedback people have given me these past years this little map project seem to have been generally well recieved, but people looking for a more typical horror jumpscare experience seem to have found the map rather dull.

I was (and still am) a hammer editor novice. The scrips are fairly crude, especialy noticable with the disc scanner and the flashlight disabling workaround (yikes). The map itself could do with more fine detail and look somewhat bare in many areas.

A rework/polishing of part 1 would mostly consist of adding more detail, ambient effects/sounds and more text dialogue. some segments are a little short and should be made longer aswell.

So one fuse, and I have to switch it around each part of the box? Am I reading this correctly?

The fuse goes into the fusebox, you only ever get one fuse that you have to move into the 3 different spots to solve the door puzzle

Ok I am so lost. I've searched for literally 30 minutes what do I do in the beginning? All I can do is find 1 fuse and that is it
