Blue Beauty

I hope you like to go fast, because that is what I had in mind when I built this shuttle. Blue Beauty, a.k.a. "Grandma" is by far my most enjoyable flying machine. She is quite zippy, going from zero to 100 mps in under 6 seconds, you can literally see the Grandma push the pilot back in his seat when you hit the gas!

Is that not fast enough for you? Press 3 for 'Turbo' and fire up that big thruster, and you will reach 100 mps in less then 3 second. SO SWEET! Just a petite 20.5 thousand kilograms, Grandma is sexy and handles like a dream. Stops on a dime, turns corners with ease, just about everything you could want from a personal sport performance vessel.

Though I have never tested it, she is capable of atmospheric flight as well. Any space cowboy needs to take a ride with Blue Beauty around the neighbourhood.

Here is the drawbacks, however. Blue Beauty is a sport shuttle, and has no fighting capability. I use her for fun and quick A to B transportation. In a brawl she is usually parked safely within Blair Enterprise's hanger bay. Since she is essentially a cockpit attached to a hydrogen tank wrapped in tin foil, any contact or crash of any kind will most likely result in a bad way.

Also, she guzzles gas, in true American engineering fashion. I am American, and my ship designs show that. LOL! Anyways, I get about 20 or so miles (44 or more km) between refuels. That is with moderate use of the turbo feature.

This is the third vessel to be featured in the workshop from my Blair Enterprise Corporate fleet. If you are not so concerned about combat, and can appreciate a performance sport shuttle for the sake of great handling, light weight, and powerful acceleration, then Blue Beauty is for you!
