SDV-class Heavy Corvette

The SDV-class heavy corvette is an escort class warship in the Covenant Navy. It is best suited to escort duties and planetary assaults.

The SDV corvette is one of the Covenant's lightest warships, and functions as a versatile escort. It is fast, but lightly armored and, unlike most Covenant ships, has no shielding whatsoever. However, light as it is, alone it outclasses UNSC frigates in size, weight and firepower. It also has some small carrier functions, as it can be assigned a small contingent of Seraph fighters.

S: Salvation, a dedicated warship able to destroy enemies
D: Dissemblance, a ship designed for stealth and black operations.
V: Vanguard, a ship deployed during a planetary invasion or bombardment.

This ship is equipped with a projector block. Assign the ship's own blueprint to the projector, activate it, and you can recieve complete repairs at shipyards and repair yards.

There has never been an official designation for the "D" or "V" in the ship's designation, so the descriptions are non-canon conjectures I came up with on my own. I think they makes sense.
