The Hyrule Fantasy - A Link to the Past Edition

Description
After playing the original Hyrule Fantasy game I thought about making a Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past version.

This Game has some slight changes to the original game. Obviosly since they are totally different games.
It's also much longer and bigger in content than the original one.

I tried to make the game like the actual A Link to the Past game for the SNES. A few things are different though. If you are familiar with the SNES game you will probably see what I had to change. Most of the changes are due to "balancing" and/or to shorten the game. For example I left out the Magical Cape because it's useless for this game. I left the Boomerang in the game to (not have a missing space on the sub-board, but also to) have people actually go there. With some good will it's balanced :P
Also the Bombs are in a totally random spot, just so you have to walk there and get them. It's an attempt to make both starting points equally worth starting at.

I did almost everything by myself, with the help of two friends and especially with great great help from those guys who made the original Hyrule Fantasy game of course.

Nintendo probably owns all of this content and and copywrited it, therefore I claim no ownership of this. Buy their games and play them.


NOTE: this mod is probably pretty load heavy. It has huge image files and actually a lot of those... I guess you need a pretty good internet connection to play this.
Please let me know if there's andy issues with that and even better tell me how to fix them.



Updated (22. Nov. 2017):
- Added a few new cards into the "Encounter Deck" and the "Event Deck"
- Changed some of the existing cards to make it more balanced.
- Changed the "Event Card" Deck, so some cards are more likely to appear while others are less likely to appear.
- Removed some spelling errors. I hope I got them all soon.

I feel like one of the Dark World warps has an error. At Y16 in the light world it requires titan's mitt and takes you to FF2. This is a direct copy of what's at FF2 in the light world. It should be Regular gloves and takes you to Y16.

we played your game more then once it's really amazing you did a great jub, me and a friend are about to upload a hyrule fantasy game in Links awakening DX i hope you will try it and enjoy as much as us

yeah you can either start at links house or at the sanctuary.

The bosses are usually done in order, but of course if you feel like it you can shuffle it as well.

Also, are you supposed to shuffle the boss deck before you start? or are they in order as intended and people just fight the same one for each dungeon?

So bit of a silly question, which space do you start at? I ask cause it says start on space i16 and space W19 in the light world. I'm assuming it is the one where Links house is but am just curious.

This just happened to me, after joining a game and the group slowly getting the hang of it, (i thought moving 3 tiles and choosing not to encounter would take seconds not minutes :S)
I got sent to the dark world, i offered to draw a new card to continue along and the host said that would be cheating and called his victory lol.

Needs a fix

Or perhaps modify the rule about dying in the dark world so you only start on the pyramid if you have the mirror. So if you don't have it, you'll restart in the light world like normal.

I think I wanna add "if you have obtained the magic mirror" just to be safe.
