Irondequoit

Omschrijving
My first map offering to the Workshop is Irondequoit. A temperate biome map, Irondequoit is based around the geography of the Irondequoit Bay north of Rochester in New York, United States. I took a bit of artistic license in rotating the map counterclockwise 90 degrees and inverting it for a bit of a unique appearance, but anyone familiar with the geography of Rochester and Irondequoit will be immediately familiar with this terrain. The map was generated using a terrain map from the awesome terrain.party[terrain.party] Website which is a great resource for those of you who wish to make your own Skylines maps based on real-world topography.

I have included many randomly placed highway routes for future development options as well as several (purely eye-candy) National Highway 2-lane roads (which consequently makes the Network Extensions Project a requirement for this map. If you would like a version of the map without NEP roads, click here) Additionally, you may subscribe to the Map Theme I used when working on this map which can be found here, though it is obviously not required.

As this is my first map upload to the Workshop, I welcome constructive criticism, suggestions and (I suppose) churlish anonymous insults. At any rate, thanks for looking!

@colorax257, thanks for the kind words! I would like to make another map now that I know a bit more about how ship and airplane paths work!
