Grand Zoo C-module

Animals for the City
59 items
Description
A big and (hopefully) realistic-looking zoo that comes in three parts (modules). If you build all three modules, the size amounts to 24 x 14 tiles (in real life that equals 192 x 112 metres).

How to use: You'll need a large flat area, and a 100% straight street. Build A on the left, B in the middle, and C on the right - done!
If you want, you can leave out module B and just build A+C.
No custom mods are required, but several props are needed. They are listed on the right as "required items". The Zoo is After Dark -friendly but it's not required.
I do not recommend it for Snowfall maps. The game will process the animals just as buildings and pile snow on them.

Size: 8 x 14
Type: unique building, level 5 (Aquarium template)
Construction cost: 33 000
Maintenance cost: 2000
Tourists low /medium/ hight wealth: 50/50/50
Attractiveness accumulation: 16
Entertainment accumulation: 150
Entertainment radius: 500
Noise accumulation: 20
Noise radius: 20
Workers: uneducated 12, educated 12, well educated 12, highly educated 2
Electricity use: 20 ( B =25)
Garbage accumulation: 4
Water + sewage: 5+5

All the stats are per module = the total cost of building modules A+B+C is 99 000, and upkeep 6000.
Building the whole set will greatly add to entertainment (leisure) level of the surrounding area, and attractiveness of your whole city.
Entertainment and attractiveness accumulation are the same as for Aquarium, so the effect is like building three Aquariums.

All modules use the template milestone of Aquarium, which means they are unlocked after you have 5000 children in elementary schools.

I made all the 3D modeling and textures. Part of the props have been made by other people - all credit and thank you to original authors!

Caution note: after building the first module, the unique building menu shows them all as "built". This doesn't matter, only the menu icon is wrong and you can still build them normally.

This is a phenomenal zoo. There is another mediocre looking one that uses the Wildlife Spawner mod to actually have moving wildlife, but unfortunately it only spawns animals local to your map (for boreal, it spawns moose, bears, and wolves, so I treat it as a local wildlife zoo). Hoping one day that the wildlife spawner can spawn specific types of animals, because then zoos will be mind-blowingly awesome.

@Mike: The animals do not move. It is unfortunately not possible to import any such animation to the game.

Are there moving animals like in the vanilla zoo?

Here's the link to my smaller zoo: http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=531381647 - As I said, it is very beginner-level modelling, some textures are messy, but it's fully functional.

@ ZigTheNorwegian: Sorry, that's not possible because the size of assets and number of their decorations (props) are limited. Every single lamp, parking space, tree, door marker, animal prop etc counts as a prop. I made a smaller zoo earlier, but at the time I was not very good at 3D modelling or texturing, so it is not as pretty as this one. It is still available at the workshop as "city zoo" if you want to check it out.

@ Lord Morpheus: Sorry for the delay, now I finally had a chance to test it. I had visitors coming to all modules. The numbers can be totally different though, because the game processes the modules as separate buildings, and not as one entity as it would be in real life.
I built a new zoo (A+B+C) and followed the visitor numbers for some time. Module A was the most popular part, probably because it was closest to tram stops and metro station. Then I built a new bus line and placed a stop in front of Module B, and soon B had more visitors and A.
It seems the people are lazy, and because every module has exactly the same entertainment value, they'll just go to the one that is easiest to reach.

@ Lord Morpheus: Thanks for your commenta. It sounds really weird, because all the modules were made the same way, and the game should handle them all in the same way. I have a problem with the game collapsing all the time today (yesterday it was fine), but as soon as it works again I'll see how it looks in my test city.

Great Building. Thumbs up. ;)

But I found a bug. Module C doesn't get any visitors at all. Module A and B are working fine. May you please look into it?
