Description
The Endeavour Pioneering Vessel is general purpose civilian vessel designed to assist in the colonisation of planets and moons. As a jack of all trades, it lacks the capability of specialised vessels, but makes up for this by offering a wide range of abilities useful to a small scale operation starting out on a new world. It is able to undertake a wide range of activities such as refining, oxygen and hydrogen production, assembly and cargo transportation between worlds. It also carries enough firepower to subdue local fauna and deter pirates, but should not be considered a military vessel. A small hangar at the rear allows transportation of a small craft. Hydrogen assisted manuevering allows improved handling, but pilots are urged to consider distances while under heavy load.

Launch Instructions
Controls are accessible from Toolbar 1 is the main flight seat, all instructions assume Inventory x1, that Hydrogen tanks are full and that the speed limit is 104m/s

From Ground – Best Fuel Efficiency – Max Load ~2.3kt
WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS PROCEDURE WHILE IN FLIGHT
  • Turn Hydrogen lifting thrusters off (Toolbar 1). Turn Atmospheric Lifting Thrusters on (Toolbar 3). Turn Downward Ion Thrusters off (Toolbar 7, this is due to a dampening related bug)
  • Set atmospheric thrusters to maximum override (Toolbar 4), accelerate upward.
  • When speed starts to drop due to atmospheric efficiency, turn on hydrogen lifting thrusters and activate launch manager (Toolbar 6). Continue to accelerate upward.
  • At approximately 0.15 Planetary Gravity turn hydrogen lifting thrusters off, turn Atmospheric Lifting Thrusters off (they continue to use power if even though they give no thrust, another bug), turn on downward Ion thrusters and rotate to use rear Ion thrusters to continue out of gravity well.
  • Use remaining hydrogen for Hydrogen manuevering thrusters to assist in docking. (Toolbar 2)
  • Don't forget to turn atmospherics back on and to turn the override down before re-entry (Toolbar 5)

From Air – Average Fuel Efficiency – Max Load ~2.3kt
  • Turn Hydrogen lifting thrusters ON (Toolbar 1, if you don't you will drop like a brick when you are overriding Atmospherics). Turn Downward Ion Thrusters off (Toolbar 7, this is due to a dampening related bug)
  • Set atmospheric thrusters to maximum override QUICKLY(Toolbar 4), accelerate upward.
  • When speed starts to drop due to atmospheric efficiency, activate launch manager (Toolbar 6). Continue to accelerate upward.
  • At approximately 0.15 Planetary Gravity turn off hydrogen lifting thrusters, turn Atmospheric Lifting Thrusters off (they continue to use power even though they give no thrust, another bug), turn on downward Ion thrusters and rotate to use rear Ion thrusters to continue out of gravity well.
  • Use remaining hydrogen for Hydrogen manuvering thrusters to assist in docking. (Toolbar 2)
  • Don't forget to turn atmospherics back on and to turn the override down before re-entry (Toolbar 5)

From Air/Ground – Terrible Fuel Efficiency – Not Recommended
  • Turn only Atmospheric Lifting Thrusters on, hold spacebar, accelerate upward.
  • When you start to slow down, turn on Hydrogen lifting thrusters, continue to hold spacebar.
  • When the hydrogen runs out, you might be high enough to use the rear ion thrusters to continue. Maybe. Don't forget to turn atmospheric thrusters off. Don't forget about the downward Ions either or you won't stop.
  • Don't forget to turn atmospherics back on and to turn the override down before re-entry (Toolbar 5)

Re-entry Instructions
  • With no/light load, Accelerate toward planet until 12000m altitude. Rotate until perpendicular with planet and main lifting thrust faces the surface. Turn Atmospheric Lifting Thrusters on (Toolbar 3). Continue to drop and dampeners will take care of the rest. (Optional) Use any available hydrogen to assist you in landing if required.
  • With heavy load, Accelerate toward planet until 12000m altitude. Rotate until perpendicular with planet and main lifting thrust faces the surface. Turn Atmospheric and Hydrogen Lifting Thrusters on (Toolbar 1, 3) Continue to drop and dampeners will take care of the rest. Use any remaining hydrogen to assist you in landing.

I try to make all my ships suitable for use in survival, if you use my ships and find a bug/problem, let me know.

UESC Contest 23
This ship was entered into the 23rd UESC Contest. Its performance was mediocre!!

Want to see how it's really done? Check out these little beauties:

So, I'm trying to make this in survival, but I can't find a good printer to make it with, and hand welding it would take WAY to long. Any suggestions for blueprints I could use?

Is this ship able to make it to space if you do not have the Ion Thrusters completely built?

Hi everyone. How to refreshing scripts. 1. LCD: need new lcd script: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=822950976 download and load it the programmavle block on a ship than copy and paste all informative lcds public text to custom data and delete public texts and all lcd-s are live again. 2. LiftoOff Manager: Change the script for this: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1247955883 liftoff PB next to the projector in projector room. Here need to configure a little of refreshed script. Open it PB editor and just rename the froup names in the script. Airlock and door control is wotking perfectly. This changes are very easy and everything live again. This is a very useful and awesome ship. I love it and use it for my remake of this fantastic ship as Space Respawn Ship. Enjoy and Very big thy for the builder. Keep up your good work.

@doctor octogonalus It certainly is. It can lift 2,300,000Kg from planet to space too.
