The quad 50 cal was the M16, which was adapted from the M13 halftrack. This is the M3 scout car, its a different vehicle, only the front is the same.

@Nick this is the M3 Scout Car, not the similarly named M3 halftrack. Though they do share the same front half, they are different vehicles that serve different purposes.
