RCS-Class Armored Cruiser

Halo: Covenant Warships (Scaled down, Shielded)

Description
The RCS class armored cruiser is a capital warship classification in the Covenant Navy. It is best suited to frontline combat and squadron command.

The RCS, the closest Covenant equivalent to the UNSC's Halcyon light cruiser, dates back to a time within the Covenant when energy shielding was less prevalent and was intended to be the backbone cruiser for the empire. The RCS, unlike most Covenant ships, lacks shielding, has less firepower, is heavier, and is slower and less maneuverable than her superior replacement, the CCS, although the two are similar in size and shape. However, her armored hull is fairly durable, and an RCS can still take care of herself with in combat. This ship also has two small hangars on her flanks that can house a small compliment of Seraph starfighters.

Armament
Plasma batteries, plasma torpedo, glassing beam

Equipment
Jump Drives, twin small Seraph hangars

Tactics
While outclassed by most Covenant vessels and more vulnerable to UNSC ships, the light carrier function and decent armor make the RCS a good early flagship. Use to command fleets and direct fighter swarms.

R: Reverence, able to scout planets and retrieve Forerunner artifacts (relatively good travel range with only two jump drives)
C: Commonplace, able to be deployed effectively in numbers and easy to produce.
S: Salvation, a dedicated warship able to destroy enemies with torpedos.

This ship is equipped with a projector block. Assign the ship's own blueprint to the projector, activate it, and you can receive complete repairs at shipyards and repair yards.
