Description
Tate Modern is the UK's home of modern art and the 9th most visited museum in the world. The building started life as the Bankside Power Station built between 1947 and 1963. After the closure of the power station it is now one of the finest examples of repurposing old industrial architecture for the future rather than demolition.

At the time of making this extension is wing under construction but this model celebrates the building as it opened in the year 2000.

My grandfather worked on the turbine halls as an engineer in Bankside and my cousin is an architect currently part of a team working on the Battersea Power/Nine Elms site, so this is a great piece of family history, pixelised. Tate Modern i sone of my favourite spots, too. Lovely work

#noahzamora - Thanks again for the feedback, I've played with the textures for a lot more realism

Good job on this, I like it. Haven't seen any buildings that look like this yet. Thanks
