Separates the rolls for hit, crits and dodge.

*** Made most features work with EU aim rolls turned off (perfect information and Gambler's roll) ***
** LW2 users now may use this mod without affecting their roll mechanics by setting ENABLE_EU_AIM_ROLLS to false in config (and uncomment the other lines at the bottom to make it work on those abilities) you will also need to update the height advantage aim bonus and squadsight penalty to match the new configuration in LW2 (default values in the comments) **

** Added LW style perfect information, enable via config **
** Ignores existing config for squadsight penalty and heigh advantage bonuses in your xcom config, you may customize these options in the mod's config instead which also provides additional options for customization (SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\624799134\Config\XComAimRoll.ini) **
** To change how long the perfect information text stays on the screen, use Customize UIEventNotices **

Gone are the days of troopers having 100% crit against people in heavy cover + aid protocol, since in XCOM 2, hits, crits and dodges shares a single roll, so if the crit chance is higher than hit chance, it always crits as long as the target can't dodge, dodge is less affected because the dodge roll is calculated based on dodge stat * hit chance.

In short: By default 10% hit 10% crit means 10% of your shot will crit, 0% normal hit, 90% miss.
With this mod 10% hit 10% crit means 1% of shot will crit, 9% normal hit, 90% miss.

By the default behaviour of this mod, rolling a crit will not roll for dodge, this is customizable in ini config. Enabling HYBRID_CRIT_DODGE will instead roll for both crits and dodge and results in a normal hit if both succeeded.

Compatibility Note:
This mod overwrites X2AbilityToHitCalc_StandardAIm, X2AbilityToHitCalc_StandardMelee and may not be compatible with other mods that overwrites the same class. [Totally not compatible with No Crit Dodging, choose only one]
Custom abilities that uses default.SimpleStandardAim will also not benefit from this change. (I can't override default.SimpleStandardAim) But you can add their template name into the INI to force this behaviour.

I have A Better Advent 2, not sure if that matters. The OW shot with covering fire is triggered by an attack, not a movement ability, so not sure how that works with your mod, since you only have lines for movement abilities.

Hi, I have OVERWATCH_BYPASS_COVER=true, yet my OW shots still suffer from cover reduction. It's very obvious on covering fire shots. Are there more +OVERWATCH_ABILITIES=??? lines that I need to add?

Thank you P COOKIE, your instructions helped me find the right file and do the necessary steps so I can play it in LW.

Thank you so much -bg- for this mod, I was getting sick and tired of the screwed up modifiers in LW. I find it ridiculous how a disoriented enemy at max distance would easily crit one of my squadies behind full cover on two sides. This will finally make the game enjoyable and not just a rage experience (then again, XCOM's all about the rage :steammocking:)

And now i set it to 100 and im still getting hit by aim assist every other turn. Am i doing something wrong?

Im pretty positve this is a bug, but my default config file had +GAMBLER_VARIANCE=5 for the aliens, so essentially every other shot they made was a 101% shot.

I looked through the comments and solved it but it would be highly convenient to have it in the description rather than trying to trouobleshoot something that has already been solved.

Way too vauge of information expecting me to understand what "uncommenting" means and wht bottom lines? The very last section? Do what? Delete it? Sorry but I would personally like you to be more informative for others. Thanks
