Description
This mod adds an HK416 assault rifle to the game. It's properties can be customized in the steamapps/workshop/content/268500/624282634/Config/XComCV_HK416.ini file - by default, it's exactly the same as the base rifle.

This is a new weapon which doesn't replace any other weapon. The HK416 is fully customizable, just like the original rifle.

IAR and DMR variants can be found here.

The hand might seem too low in the deployment/armory menu, but it's fine on the missions.

In the future I'd like to add proper UI icons, right now it uses the same icons as the default rifle.

I am not working on my XCOM 2 mods anymore, nor do I have WoTC, so I cannot update the mod anyway. Your best bet is waiting for some compilation/other author to fix my mods.

After the patch it seems the guns are back to being infinite again but I'd rather not start a new campaign to get them back. I managed to use the console to bring back the 1911s but I can't seem to figure out which identifier is used for the additem command for anything else. Does anyone have any idea what it is?
