We all love Commonwealth, don't we?

But we do not really want to explore it alone. So Bethesda gives us, as always, an oppurtunity - a companion!
We got 13 fellows in the game, we can max our relations with all of them (except Dogmeat - he loves you from the beginning).

We can romance with:
- Piper
- Preston (He have feelings jackass! He hates rain. Hate is an feeling!)
- Hancock
- Danse
- Robert Maccready
- Cait
- Curie
- Magnolia (She isn't a companion, however she is an romance option)

We can't romance with:
- Strong
- Dogmeat (That would be interesting)
- X6-88
- Nick Valentine
- Deacon (not really shure why?)

What companion do? They shoot thing, yeah. They comment places and your choices. And they are like cargo train, they carry all your junk. These are their main tasks.

Some of them give you an additional mission.

Here we go!


The first companion I want to talk about is Piper, reporter living in Diamond City. She got a little obsesion about the synths, but she is cool. Trust me ;)

As I said she lives in the Diamond City and you will meet her there for the first time, most likely she will try to get to the city. Then you will be a witness of the argument between her and the Mayor of the city, and we will get the quest "Story of the century". After that short mission Piper becomes the companion and she can travel with us.

Piper have in her inventory:
- Her (sexy ^_^) RED LEATHER TRENCH COAT (Can't equip armor on that coat, but we can install ballistic weave).
- Press Cap
- Basic road leathers
- 10 mm pistol

Pros and cons:
Pros:
- Interesting companion with cool background
- Great romance option
- Easy to max the relationship with her (for most of the players).
- She calls you "Blue"
- Sexy coat
- She gives you sweets
- She likes Railroad and Minutemen
- Awesome companion perk!
Cons:
- Not so usefull in a battle
- She doesn't like institute and BoS
- She is a little bit too law-abiding ( Crime is bad... pff...)

How to max relations with her? I got few adivices:

What do you need to do:
- Do good thing, help people, be generous.
- Do quests for Railroad and Minutemen.
- Avoid violence, choose peacefull (and sometimes sarcastic) dialog options.
- Persaude people.
- Pick unowned locks

She loves actions developing Diamond City and helping children.

What do you need to avoid:
- Stealing
- Killing innocent
- Pickpocketing
- Selfish, mean, violent dialog options
- Asking for more money
- Picking owned locks
- Eating corpses

Picking romance options help to get her approval faster.

After getting the highest approval we get the cool perk Gift of Gab, which double our experience for persausion and discovering new places. This is very usefull, espacially on the beggining of the game.
