Covenant Construction & Repair Yard (Shields)

The Construction and Repair Yard is a large space station classification in the Covenant Navy. It's purpose is to build and repair the standard cruisers and smaller ships utilized by the Covenant Empire in the war against humanity.

Little has been seen of the Covenant's infrastructure, as the UNSC has rarely gotten a chance to venture deep into enemy territory. But the Covenant, for all of it's might, needs places to repair it's ships close to the front line, as well as to replace lost ships. This large structure can quickly produce and repair any Covenant ship smaller than an ORS heavy cruiser (like the CCS shown above), as well as resupply a number of ships from it's numerous connector points and endless large storage containers.

This station, while having no weaponry, does have a light shield. However this is mostly to protect it from debris impacts, and by no means should these stations be kept past the front line.

WARNING: May not completely weld the entire ship, parts of the exterior/interior may require finishing. The biggest ships can be the most difficult to complete.

(As seen on the HUD, this ship's shields give it 50k protection. These are really weak shields, meant only to protect from flying debris and accidental collisions. Shields have a >1 minute full recharge.)
