Velocitus (P23-B Fighter)

The Model B is currently the heaviest of the Velocitus line and offers much improved firepower, armour and thrust. Its siblings are the Model A2 Scout and Model A3 Interceptor.
P23-A2 Scout : Lightest, and quickest of the line.
P23-A3 Interceptor : Improved firepower at the price of some speed. The middleground of the family.

With upgraded armour and firepower, the Model B is more capable in a straight up fight while continuing to offer strong thrust with good turning abilities.

Relying on its 6 gatling guns to shred smaller opponents and reloadable rocket launcher to disable larger ones, The Velocitus is plenty capable of taking care of business. It is recommended to maintain speeds above 50m/s in combat or to take advantage of its strong forward/backward acceleration abilities to make target leading difficult. Decoys mounted in the thruster pods make sure automated weapons do not fire on ship vitals.
The front mounted cockpit tends to avoid fire in turning battles, but becomes the primary target in a head on attack. DO NOT do head on attacks, that's the job for heavy fighters and corvettes.
