SET for Christmas - A Whiterun Winter Wonderland!

Description
This mod recently reviewed on YouTube turns Whitrun into a Wintery Wonderland!
The humorous YouTube video is here: A Whiterun Winter Wonderland - Mod Spotlight. Many who enjoyed the Holloween theme mod SET for Halloween, requested a SET for Christmas. So this is our holiday gift to them and you, complete with snow-covered streets and rooftops, colored holiday lanterns and decorations, and snow-covered pine trees throughout the town. Whiterun's jarl is now jolly Jarl Santa, dressed in old Saint Nick's clothes, and his guards are now merry snow elves in gay green garb.

SET (Skyrim Encounters and Themes) for Christmas requires no DLC, but is completely compatible with all of them. It doesn't require you to start a new game. You may subscribe at any time to dress Whiterun for the holidays. It's completely safe. Disable it at any time and Whiterun returns to normal with no snow, no pines and Nord guards instead of elves. You should unsubscribe from SET for Halloween before using this mod. It's not really lore-friendly, as Skyrim's citizens don't celebrate Christmas. But who the Oblivion cares? A little holiday fun never hurt anyone!

WHAT'S NEW

❖ The Holiday Express!
Whiterun's carriage is now decorated with holiday wreaths and colored lights (see the slideshow image, above). The driver is a pointy-eared snow elf, and the cart horse has transformed into a white reindeer (looks the same as the White Stag hunted in the quest III Met by Moonlight.

❖ Your Santa Suit and Elf Outfit Gifts!
For those who asked for them, the holiday clothing is now the mod's gift just for you! In the gift chest in your Breezehome bedroom you will find:
✓ The complete Santa suit worn by Jarl Santa
✓ The full Drunk Santa outfit
✓ The entire Santa Elf guard armor outfit, with green boots, cuirass and gauntlets
✓ The new Santa Elf Commander armor outfit, with red and green boots, cuirass and gauntlets

❖ Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
All of Whiterun 's streets, bridges, courtyards, walls and rooftops are now snow covered. Throughout the town are snow-covered pine trees, which glow in the sun and reflect the lamplights at night.

❖ Santa Claus Comes to Town!
The Jarl of Whiterun is now named Jarl Santa and is donned in authentic gay apparel. In keeping with the them, his guards are now merry elves, with pointy ears and skin white as snow. They look like snow elves, but they're really wood elves with a snow-white skin tone, since the Dawnguard DLC isn't required. They too are dressed green elf garb, trimmed in gold, and each one has a unique hair color, hair style and mustache or beard. But they all sound like normal Nord guards, because that's the only voice tone for the guard dialogs.

❖ Strike the Harp and Join the Chorus!
Simnir--the dude in the Bannered Mare with banded iron armor--is now named Drunk Santa! When the bard sings, he gulps mead and dances. When he's too intoxicated to stand, he sits and eats gingerbread cookies.

❖ Sweet Holiday Treats
Drunk Santa is not the only one able to drink milk and eat cookies. You do can enjoy gingerbread cookies shaped like little men. Sweetrolls are seasonally sweeter, too, as their covered in red and green sprinkles.

❖ Deck the Halls
Whiterun and other locations of Skyrim are decorated for the holiday season. Glazed cups, plates, vases and jugs are painted red and green. All kinds of candles are also red and green. Wall baskets now have colored candles and are circles with snowberry wreaths. The streets of Whiterun are also decorated with green and gold glowing lights, and the Gildergreen courtyard is decorated with Companions and Whiterun shields encircled with snowberry wreaths.

❖ Just for Christmas: No Quest Required!
You no longer have to complete the quest Blessings of Nature to save Whiterun's dying "Christmas" tree. Even if you don't want to complete the quest, it still becomes a brilliantly lit symbol of life and the joy of the season!

❖ It's Your Christmas Gift
Want to see something added to this mod? Just ask! I'll be adding features to this mod between now and Christmas. Consider it my gift to you!

GIVING WHITERUN A HOLIDAY TREE

If you haven't completed the quest Blessings of Nature, yet, you'll want to do so before Christmas. The quest gives life to Skyrim's Gildergreen tree, which is now a dying pine, with rusty brown needles. After completing the quest, it turns into a brilliant, green and snow-covered giant pine tree, decorated with green, gold and red lights, and topped with a magic glowing star. To start the quest, talk to the female snow elf sitting under the tree, who wears a wreath on her head and a green robe. If desired, you may allow another Christmas elf to accompany you on the quest. You'll also meet other elves, too.
