Description
HIATUS WARNING
Because of Keen SWH's repeated pushing of broken updates which make it hard to impossible to maintain a running server, I am taking a long break from Space Engineers. This includes work on said server, mods, and support for these mods. Please keep in mind that we still would like you to message us if you intend to do work on our mods for other purposes. For the time being: Goodbye, Space Engineers. Maybe you become playable without me wanting to kill myself and/or the people responsible for pushing out QA-confirmed non-working updates actually changin their ways.

So long, and thanks for the clang.

Warbros ModLabs brings you, within short timeframe, an expansion to an existing mod, which is grate.

Content: Frames and grates to go along with panels.
Status: Framed by the opposition for a crime I did not commit.
Useable: I would be grateful if you tried.
Sources: Gordon Frameman, The Grate Lebowski, a panel on grating SJWs.
Concepts: The Grate War, splitframe console gaming.
Software Used: .NET Framework 4.0

Description:
So, the armor panel mod by UncleSte and revived by SEModder 4 had these really neat construction stages which produced frame and grates. You may have seen them in builds by some of the more prolific small ship wizards on the workshop. The problem is, these blocks aren't welder-resistant. They will finish building when welded. To avoid this, I took the models of the two construction stages and made them finished blocks. Now you can frame and grid things to your liking without having welders close those tunnels for you.

Contains the following size:
1x1 - flat and angled, small and large
2x1 - flat and angled, small and large
3x1 - flat and angled, small and large

Enjoy.

Testimonies:
"Well, that answers that."
- an anonymous rabbit with a voluptuous girlfriend who tries to figure out why things happened to him

DX9/DX11 Status:
We are in the post-planets era. Any mod you see released by me is DX11 and usually still supports DX9, but if one of those is not working right, it is DX9. DX11 is what I focus on, as any modder worth his salt should. Please don't ask "Is this DX11 compatible?". Yes it is. I am not going to release a mod that I cannot use myself, and since I run a server with planets, that means DX11 is always gonna work. If anything DX9 users might sometimes not luck out. But DX11 will always work.

Donations:
If you think that the hobby work of some people unhappy with the vanilla game needs to be paid, despite them doing it mostly for themselves anyway, please click here for a moment of appreciation: PayPal (no seriously, click that link to see our variety of donation options. You might be surprised.)

Now, if you want still want to support what my numerous buddies and I are doing, we have set up a patreon[www.patreon.com]. If you want to make this game a little less of a financial toll me, feel free to shoot me some shekels. Keep in mind though, I am not asking anyone to do so. The patreon is for the players who play on my server, but I won't say no to anyone feeding me a buck to help pay for that thing. Just be aware that I won't be able to deliver the rewards if your not playing on my box. You should still click that PayPal link, though. I like that link. Come on. Just click it. Just once. Do it.

Is there ... vodka/orange juice tea? Y'know, so I can drink that while looking sophisticated with a steaming cuppa.

You keep up the awesome work too! I probably wont be doing much more myself. I am going to have to put in a lot of overtime at work, car just got put in the shop and the outlook isnt so good, huge bill...

To each their own, no skin of my back. Mods I upload are for either side of the pond, and I do a fair bit of creative pondering myself. Communication distortion noted, we're all good my man. You keep on keeping on and being awesome.

I have no hard feelings on this end either, just meant it sounded like you were poking fun at those who play creative only. My wording doesnt always play out as it should.

Oh yeah, those construction states were there. This mod would not exist without SEModder4 making UncleSte's construction models DX11 compatible. They are both mentioned for that reason, and all the while UncleSte did not accept my friend request, I added SEModder4 to the contributors.

Shop chat aside, it strikes me as if you are being a bit to personally dispositioned after I made a remark in jest on a mod you made. There are no hard feelings on this end, I suggest you check your end likewise. There is no elitism involved, and if it came across as such, I can assure you this is a matter of interpretation, not intention. Creative players simply deal with different situations as survival players.

Just meant that the build states were there, JWA made it sound as if they werent. That is a very elitist way of sounding also Ced..
Ced23Ric  [author] 28 Dec, 2015 @ 7:12am
That's a very "Creative" player way to look at things. :)

In a survival enviroment, there is a plethora of welders around, and even welder ships that would weld themselves cannot use "unwelded" panels in that capacity, which is why I put this up.
Mojo 28 Dec, 2015 @ 6:37am
@ JWA the new panels do have construction stages....that is where Ced23Ric got the build stages from to do this....which of course people could have done the same thing with the Armor panel mod and just not weld them up all the way. :) (Or if in creative grind them down some..)
