Navajo Valley Terrain Theme

Description
An HD desert theme based on the Navajo Valley in the United States.

This theme's textures are all 2048x2048 pixels, hence the large size. Probably not a good idea to use it unless you got a decent system. However, I use it just fine and don't even have a GPU

Use sand resource brush to paint deserts.

Looks best with Tropical LUT.

To use this mod you need to subscribe to the required "Terrain Themes Mod".

This theme won't load on europe or boreal maps.

Please enable this mod in the Content Manager after subscribing. If you still can't see it in the Terrain Themes dropdown, you may need to restart the game.

This Theme is ideal to use with MrMiyagi's Navajo Valley map.

Enjoy! (rate+fav if you like it : )

If you're feeling generous and would like to buy me the morning paper or a drink, you can donate using the link below.

I'm currently unemployed and any donations are extremely appreciated. Will allow me to continue working on stuff like this and have more time to learn more.

Thank you!

You can alter the theme's xml by going into its folder at:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\255710\575257702 and open the TerrainThemePack.xml file.
Change this line:

<biomes europe="false" boreal="false" temperate="true" tropical="true" />

so that boreal="true" and you're good to go.

Be careful not to break the xml, otherwise you will have to unsub/redownload the theme.

It's great to be able to create better western landscapes now. Thank you. If possible, it would be nice if it could load on Boreal maps as well, since when you do find forests in the arid west they tend to be pines rather than the large leafy trees that Temperate provides. Overall a great mod so far. The nights CO gave us are nice, but I find this to be a more interesting addition to the game.

I would really love this theme if it were only a smaller file size. I do have a good rig - i7 3.6ghz, 24g ram & Radeon HD 2g but I'd rather not stress it if I can avoid it. I may try this theme just to see how it affects my system. Its not like I have hundreds and hundreds of custom content (like I do with Sims3 and all EPs) that game runs fine though.

Yeah, texture replacer just never really worked for me.

TPB, I would appreciate you doing this for even more texture themes, because unfournately for some people the texture replacer mod does not work. But this does, and it's a great thing! I can finally build something in the desert without having to frustrate of it not looking like the desert! Thank you!
