Description
This map is an update to Rich's dm_richland.

What Changed?
  • Fixed the C4 crash exploit!
  • Fixed the missing shed texture.
  • Converted HL2:DM weapons and entities to TTT equivalents, it is much more optimized that way.
  • Fixed the endless explosion loop with that tripwire trap.

What Makes This "Official"?
It was released with direct permission from Rich using his vmf, not a decompiled version. He is also added as a contributor but any support related questions should be directed towards Stalker instead.

So how did this crash exploit work?
Let a C4 explode near the center of either of the two apartment buildings.

Can I have the vmf?
Maybe, add Stalker on Steam.

Thanks to Rich's fine work this map has been going strong for more than a decade!

I actually decompiled ttt_richland and fixed it years ago, back in 2016, but I never recompiled it and released the copy. After testing this map, there are several improvements that can be made to it based on the changes I made:

1. Players killed by traps do not count as being killed by the player who activated the trap. It's possible to set this in Hammer but I can't remember offhand. If I can get the map file to load I'll post a screenshot.

2. The barrel/hammer/tripwire traps all work, but the two laser traps don't work. Would it be possible to get the two laser traps to kill players?

In the original version, in the bath tubs in the bathrooms of the buildings, the soap holder's handle is a complex displacement. Honestly way too unnecessarily fancy. For some reason the C4 explosion would case a crash when placed near those. I replaced them with simple brushes.
