Warbros Long Range Lights 1.187 UPDATE

Description
Update: Adjusted the ranges for the blocks for planetary exploration at speed. Added the CornerLights.
_____________________________________________________

Warbros ModLabs brings you a revised and updated mod of the older days - range increase on lights.

Content: Interior Light and Spotlight, for small and large grids.
Status: Illuminated.
Useable: Like a torch in the dark.
Sources: Blinded by the light.
Concepts: Fiat lux.
Software Used: Duracell Power Optimzer.

Description:
Large Ship - Interior Light - [s]25m[/s] 50m
Large Ship - Spotlight - [s]300m[/s] 750m

Small Ship - Interior Light - [s]15m[/s] 35m
Small Ship - Spotlight - [s]175m[/s] 500m

Large Ship - Corner Lights - 20m
Small Ship - Corner Lights - 12m

Hint:
If you want to have illumination across a long range, from max to short, you may have to use multiple lights. It is a good idea to have 3 lights pointed the same direction, set one to 300m, one to 200m, one to 100m, for example. Additionally, you can use the interior lights to provide some short range illumination. Sadly, I cannot alter how Keen handles spotlights.

Protip:
If you find someone who unironically uploads a mod that is not DX11 compatible, beat them. 2015 is almost over. Planets are here. DX9 is over a decade old and outdated. Yes, this mod is DX11 compatible. The knee-jerk reaction of asking if a mod is DX11 compatible is probably one of the worst habits the SE Community has these days. Hell, DX9 compatability is something you can ask about. Because many people have stopped caring about that. The mod also replaces previous "Super Lights", as a drop-in replacement. Get rid of that mod if you want to run this one.

DX9/DX11 Status:
We are in the post-planets era. Any mod you see released by me is DX11 and usually still supports DX9, but if one of those is not working right, it is DX9. DX11 is what I focus on, as any modder worth his salt should. Please don't ask "Is this DX11 compatible?". Yes it is. I am not going to release a mod that I cannot use myself, and since I run a server with planets, that means DX11 is always gonna work. If anything DX9 users might sometimes not luck out. But DX11 will always work.

Donations:
If you think that the hobby work of some people unhappy with the vanilla game needs to be paid, despite them doing it mostly for themselves anyway, please click here for a moment of appreciation: PayPal (no seriously, click that link to see our variety of donation options. You might be surprised.)

Now, if you want still want to support what my numerous buddies and I are doing, we have set up a patreon[www.patreon.com]. If you want to make this game a little less of a financial toll me, feel free to shoot me some shekels. Keep in mind though, I am not asking anyone to do so. The patreon is for the players who play on my server, but I won't say no to anyone feeding me a buck to help pay for that thing. Just be aware that I won't be able to deliver the rewards if your not playing on my box. You should still click that PayPal link, though. I like that link. Come on. Just click it. Just once. Do it.

Sorry, bud. I stopped playing in 2016 or something. But the mod itself is fairly simple. All you need to do is download the mod, replace the outdated definitions with the vanilla ones (you can find them in the game's CubeDefinitions, IIRC) and then adjust the range numbers. It didn't do anything else than that.

@Ced23Ric Any chance you might be willing to update this awesome mod? there are others out there but this one is perfect all around.

This appears to be broken, which is a shame. Can anyone confirm? I installed the mod but did not get any new lights added to the "G" menu. If it's broken, I really hope someone gets it fixed so I can replace all those spotlights for a performance boost!

Im new to this game and havent started modding yet. cause i wanna learn what im doing before i try modding. but im picking mods out for when i get use to game play/workings. but if you read this Thank You for doing what you do., im sure some people would have alot less fun without the mod community.

Because hell, this is awesome

Just thought I'd drop by to say we're still using these on our server. So I guess they fixed whatever broke this mod as the mod hasn't been updated since it apparently stopped working.

@Greyson Confirmed here too. It's a sad day!

Just checked. This mod seems incompatable with the latest patch.

Even with this mod loaded alone, it causes instant crash.

Did not add them to the Assembler. Since I have stopped modding and/or caring about Spengies, the mod won't be updated either. Sorry, Flux. Use it as it is.

Very nice! now I can actually see something! Might be nice to add them to the assembler as well for easy production ;) or am I just blind and can't find them?
