Hello there. Many people have found the Alien Blaster, but sadly most of these people are stupid, they keep telling you to go to X location then Y location then to do W quest.

Well, here is a F.A.Q:

Does the Alien Blaster requires any kind of Quest to get?- NO, you don't. Its a Random event with fixed location (I'lll get to that soon).

Do I need to have a specific S.P.E.C.I.A.L to get?- NO, you don't. Its a "free-use".

Do I need to be at certain level to get it?- YES, you do. Level 20+

The Alien Crash Location is Random? - NO, it isn't. It will always be in the same part of the map (I'll show that later).

If it's not a quest and won't trigger with the end of any quest, how do I know I can get it?- The Alien Blaster is an Item that you can get after The Alien Crash Event, you can hear it or look at it in the sky as soon as you reach lvl 20. If you have a follower they might say "Look at the sky, it looks like it crashed somewhere".

Are there any Legendary Enemies or Bosses to confront?- YES and NO. You only have to deal with one and very weak Alien. The weapon will be in his inventory.

After spotting the event OR getting to higher lvls than 20, you'll need to get to this location where my charater is.


This is my second character, so I didn't go to that place ofter, but there are a lot of Farms and Camps near that. If you are used to do Minuteman Quests the location won't be a problem

This is what the crashed Alienship will look like. You can walk nearby with no problem, unlike Fallout 3 there is no radiation around the ship.


Stay in the same position as my character did and then look to the right. You'll see a trail of green alien blood, keep following it til you see a cave below.

See? This is what the cave looks like. There are no Enemies like radscorpions around, so you can go with no problems.

The cave is small and its really good looking, if you approach the aline sneaking he won't become hostile. So you can either pickpocket him or kill him.

However, if you have a follower keep in mind that he will kill the alien on sight.


If you rush to the alien, like me, he'll try to attack you. Don't worry, he's pretty weak and 2 shots with anything should deal with him

The Alien Blaster can be Modded with High Intelligence and Science perk. It consumes energy cells, but that won't be a problem.
