Hello! This here is my guide on obtaining the Deathclaw Gauntlet! I will show you as much as i can on obtaining and modifying this weapon!

Now, I recommend getting the Misc. quest 'cause it will show you where to go, instead of looking at the picture i will provide.

This Misc. quest is given from rumors, where you get it is from Diamond City, you will go there and people will just say it randomly. That is how you get it.

Now, you are gonna wanna go to the Museum of Witchcraft! As the Misc quest shows.


Now, to the right of the building in the garden will be a Gunner corpse. It will have a holotape on her (Private Hart's Holotape) you need to listen to. You will get a mission called "The Devil's Due". Listen to the holotape and you will recieve the next part of your quest.

It will tell you to explore the Museum, now you are gonna wanna go into the cellar door next to the Gunner corpse. After you go in there you will hear loud foot steps above you and some roaring. Don't worry, it is just one of the biggest and most deadliest Deathclaw i have ever seen! :D. Just go around untill you go up a set of stairs to the main floor. Be carely, next to the entrance (across the building from the steps) is a Deathclaw.



Now this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is level 61 for me (Level 34 as of this mission) He is a MASSIVE PAIN IN THE ♥♥♥♥, i recommend having Paladin Danse, he destroyed this guy. Run around and let him do the dirty work. If you don't have Paladin Danse, then I don't know what to tell you, try doing something? Use alot of explosives, i had a quad barrel rocket and i did about 1/10 to him with 20 rockets. Yeah he is annoying :D. So if you want a cake walk use Paladin Danse.

First of all: the Deathclaw won't get past the doorway to the stairs, so the stairs and the whole cellar is a safe spot. You *could* get out, shoot at the Deathclaw and get back to safety. It will take a while though (better than having no cover at all ^^).

I got the egg with lvl 9 or 10 without fighting: You can just run to the egg room, take the holotape on the floor, run back to the stairs and listen to it. Now you can go back and pick the egg. You can leave the museum through the front door afterwards (the door is very close to the egg).

There are enogh obstacles for the Deathclaw to slow it down, it did not even hit me once.

Don't forget to save before trying and also don't forget the magazine on one of the tables (on the left side, looking from the stairs to the main entrance). You can pick it before the Deathclaw appears.

Now after you kill the Deathclaw (or not, doesn't matter) you are going to want to head into the bathroom. The marker will show you where that is. Now listen to the next holotape (Sergeant Lee's Holotape) and it will explain what they took, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DEATHCLAW EGG. Now take this egg, and there are some cracked eggs on the ground (They go for acid and bone, and the upgrade needs bone, so use these).

NOW THIS NEXT PART IS IMPORTANT! It will give you TWO options. One, complete the delivery to Diamond City.... Just don't you want option two to get the weapon. Two, return the egg to the nest. Now pick two and go return that egg. Once you get to the nest there will be another Deathclaw, thank god this is a low level one, 21, i was 34 so this was a LOW level to me. Once you kill him, look towards the nest, the weapon is stabbed into the ground.



This bad boy is the Deathclaw Gauntlet.



Congrats! That is the quest and the weapon. Now if you want, you can take that egg back OUT of the nest, nothing will happen, it is just a medical item, does 45hpRegen and 3 rads, 0.1lb so light as ♥♥♥♥, and value is... 69 ;) Had to.

Now really, there is only one mod for this weapon, a extra claw. Basically instead of 2 claws, 3.
