This ship was designed to use the LAARP missiles, which you can get here If you want the separate blueprint (the gunship comes with two missiles attached anyway)

Gargoyle Low Altitude Attack Craft

Mass: 60,495 kg (empty)
Acceleration: ~7 m/s^2 (Martian atmosphere)
Length: 19.5 m
Hardpoints: 2
Base Weapons: 1 Gatling Turret, 2 Gatling Guns
Cargo: 1 Medium Containers
Connector: 1
Oxygen: 1 Tank, 1 Generator

Crew: 1 Pilot, 1 Gunner

The Gargoyle was the first dedicated atmospheric craft developed by PFS. It was introduced along with the development of jet engines capable of functioning within the atmosphere of Titan, where oxidizer was burned instead of fuel, due to the natural fuel provided by Titan's methane atmosphere.

The Gargoyle is most often used to guard outlying facilities in the un-terraformed areas of Titan. Other versions of the gunship have also become popular amongst corporate police forces.

The gunship is a versatile design, with hardpoints designed to accept various types of loadouts. The most common outfit for a Gargoyle is with 1 rocket pod under each wing, but it also was designed to utilize LAARP guided missiles against any forms of enemy armor.

----------------------------- USER MANUAL --------------------------

Pilot Seat (front)

1. Select Gatling Guns
2. Select Rocket Launchers
3. Left Wing Hardpoint On/Off
4. Right Wing Hardpoint On/Off
5. View Targeting Camera
6. Fire Missile 1
7. Fire Missile 2
9. Turn Proximity Warnings On/Off (see 'Flight Dynamics' below)

When using the LAARP system, you can use the camera to target, fire the missiles, and the point the camera to wherever you want the missile to go. It is suggested that when you fire the missiles, you move the gunship up a bit so that the missiles get a clean separation from the wings.

If you are not using the LAARP system, you can attach rocket pods, battery packs, and other attachments. You can then use buttons 3 and 4 to eject these attachments when they run out of ammo or are otherwise no longer useful.

Gunner's Seat (Rear)

1. Gatling Turret On/Off
2. Control Gatling Turret
3. Left Wing Hardpoint On/Off
4. Right Wing Hardpoint On/Off
5. View Targeting Camera
6. Fire Missile 1
7. Fire Missile 2

FLIGHT DYNAMICS

The gunship was built and tested within a Martian Atmosphere, therefore, in theory, it should work better in thicker atmospheres, and is more responsive in lower gravity.

For night flying, there are 3 lights (2 front, 1 below) for flying. I have also included a proximity warning system, that will sound an alarm whenever you are within 5m of the ground. You can use the sensor to adjust these parameters, or turn off the sound block from the pilot's seat if you wish to fly low without being annoyed.

Note that the side thrust exists solely to stabilize your hover. You should treat the gunship similarly to a helicopter, in that, when turning, it is important to bank to the side to stop your sideways movement with the downward thrust, but do not bank so much that you begin to fall.

----------------------------- CREDITS --------------------------

The LAARP missiles utilize Whiplash's GASP guidance system, which you should get here.
