Description
The second Destroyer by Hyperion Systems, the Cobra is a defensive ship often used to protect Carriers and other important assets. While the Viper engages smaller vessels, the Cobra was built to fight ships of a similar size, namely other Destroyers and Frigates. The use of a broadside configuration allows the Cobra to quickly bring its weapons to bear against attackers approaching from all directions and it's low profile reduces the size of the target presented to the enemy. Whilst not particularly fast by Hyperion Systems standards, it is usually quick enough to engage enemy Destroyers and against faster opponents, such as Frigates, the Cobra can activate it's Hydrogen thrusters to gain a temporary boost to performance. Generally considered more reckless that Viper Crews, Cobra crewman are known to regularly put themselves in harms way to protect other ships, a trait that has earned them many friends amongst Carrier and Support crews.

I try to make all my ships suitable for use in survival PvP and I'm trying to achieve some sort of balance between vessels to allow for multiple fleet builds, if you use my ships and find a good combination or a bug/problem, let me know.

Thanks for the confirmation 5URG3. Also thank you for the fantastic lineup of ships. I'm not very creative so I tend to use other people's creations, so far yours are the best! I'm always on the look out through your line up of ships to add to my fleet.

Quick question, do you recommend using the auto repair during a fight, or after?

Yes, the Auto-Repair won't repair the whole ship, just engines and broadsides on this one I think.

Still flying this ship, it is amazing. I love the auto repair, but it doesn't seem to cover the entire ship, was this intended?

Fantastic ship! I just wish I could bring it into planets as well. Is there any plans to add atmospheric capabilities?

@Lokireborn117 A combination of welders and projector switched as a group. On this ship it repairs thrusters and the broadsides. Auto-Repair was the best thing I could think of calling it at the time. Maybe Combat Repair would be better? There should be a toolbar set up in the room with four control seats.
