Challenger-Class Mk.II-P

Description
The Challenger-Class Exploration Frigate. Perhaps Larson Engineering's most famous vessel.

When it was first designed it was called the Explorer-Class, with the first vessel being named "Challenger" in honour of one of the most long-standing names in human history when it comes to exploration.

The design has undergone a number of revisions since that first Mk.I Explorer-Class. Since then the ship has had its entire interior relaid no less than seven times. The hull has stayed remarkably similar to that first model, though the march of progress has forced some changes. A hangar was added to her underbelly, widening the keel. A jump drive was installed, increasing the hull length in the aft section. Entirely new nacelles were designed and installed for powerful hydrogen thrusters, and the top deck had extensions to house further Hydrogen Thrusters for planetary excursions.

It was when these powerful engines were added that the class was renamed the Challenger-Class, and the first three marks saw the number and layout of these thrusters change vastly.

The Mk.III has been taken out of service and out of production, and thus the Mk.II is the most up-to-date version of this mighty vessel.

@Sirius Yeah maybe. I tend to struggle building new hull shapes. Definitely want to get something bigger going though.

Well, keep making more of these kind of ships (how bout a ship twice the size of this one?)
Will love to see one of these supersized.
Nice work.

@Siriu Aha well I did originally create the ship which Xocliw used in the trailer, rather than recreating it from the trailer.

As for the Lore, yeah it's a sort of embellished retelling of the actual history of this ship and all the changes I've made to it since that fateful day when Space Engineers first launched and I built this ship.

You actually created a lore for a ship featured in a trailer, holy shit!
