Have With Yow To Walsingame (Class 25)

Weardale & Teesdale Route Network
53 items
Description
Pick up freight service from Frosterley to Fieldon Bridge, featuring a lot of shunting at Wolsingham and Fieldon Bridge. Duration: about 85 minutes.

You need the Weardale & Teesdale Route Network.

Notice:
The title comes from a piece of classical music by the British composer William Byrd (1543-1623). When I see "Wolsingham" on the route map I always have to think of that fabulous piece of music...

Hello reader, TS is a black box sometimes. There are plenty of possible faults during the sync between workshop and TS. You could try to unsubscribe, delete the scenario in TS and resubscribe. All the best, Tob

Tried this scenario four times now, The first three attempts I couldn't get past one step where the game didn't recognise me fully stopping before proceeding (even though I had) so I aborted the game each time and retried. On the fourth attempt it failed once again at the same point so I just carried on to complete the rest of the scenario. A great mixture of tasks but at 85mins I can't convince myself to try again and shall move on to other trials.

Very enjoyable scenario indeed! And helps with "We’re Better Together" too :)
I messed up the first attempt by leaving some cars behind somewhere (thus instruction 10 failed and eventually got stuck), but in the end, it was my fault.
Really nice to play with all the various cars provided. Particularly cool to move the ones without brakes. ;-)

Thank you very much, John. Creating this scenario was really hard work, so I'm happy to hear that you liked it. Best regards, Tob

Hello David, thank you very much! I am happy you enjoyed this long and complex scenario. :-) I remember that it took many test runs to find out how the signals work properly. Many test runs of a 85 minutes-scenario means.... well, many hours. ;-D I am looking forward your feedback to the Riviera Line in the 1950s. But you're doing it right - enjoy the W&T as long as possible before switching to another route. That's how I do it, too. Best regards, Tob

Hello Tob! This is another of your top class scenarios --- I think they're getting better and better! Very well-crafted indeed! It was quite hard work, but brilliantly rewarding! You did need to concentrate on the task in hand, but your instructions were just spot on! My warm thanks to you again! I can't wait to get to your scenarios on the Riviera in the Fifties, but I first want to work through the rest of what you have produced for the W & T, or at least the ones I have the DLC for. Kind regards, David.
