So i finally did a M249. I always thought the weapon is reminiscent of a big mean muscle car machine. Heavy, powerful, loud and sleek looking... wait... no. Sleek looking it ain't.

So i tried to make it LOOK like a muscle car as well. The final result is the M249 Supercharged Edition. I really hope you guys like it and if it goes down well with you folks I'll add some color variations of the gun in the near future. This gun took quite a lot of time as i underestimated the shear number of small parts which were neccessary to detail.



I wanted to achieve a musclecar themed look, starting with the magazine which screamed for an engine block conversion. The buttstock sporting a leathersurface with yellow accent stitching like on a sportscar seat. Plus all the little details like little wheel buttons on the guns sights, the air filter underneath the barrel or the exhaust looking cylinders on the front of the gun and the decals one might find on your everyday muscle car.



As the weapon becomes more and more battletorn the body starts to collect rust as you might expect from a car. Let me know if you like the design. I am eager to know. I hope you guys like it!
