Berlin Inspired Buildings [AD district style]

Description
Berlin Inspired Buildings. I was requested to make a district style of the Berlin Tenement Collection http://steamproxy.net/profiles/76561197970399225/myworkshopfiles/?section=collections&appid=255710 which now has about 105 single assets based on 25 different buildings. All of them have photoreal textures and are kept below 5000 triangles (as recommended by the games developers).

I recommend using the great Building Themes per district mod https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=466158459 by bloodyprenguin, boformer and SamsamTS for district styles. However both - the in-game AD and the mod style will still fail to properly represent the whole variety of the collection. I hope there will be a way to fix this. Until then I'll be constantly adding new stuff to the collection and the style to inprove the outcome in game.

Please do not try to download the assets using the ingame option, use the link to the collection above, to my knowledge its more reliable.


KNOWN ISSUES

Game wont start - You have probably subscribed to a large amount of assets, cleaning out the asset folder will help.

Buildings keep spawning everywhere - Normal behaviour of growable assets, use district style to seperate them from other styles! Note: This district style will add 129 new assets to your game. Those buildings will also appear when no style is selceted to a district. You can avoid that by unchecking the assets in the content manager or applying the european district style seperately.

Whenever I select the "Default style" for one of my districts, I get this weird mix-and-match of modern, towering skyscrapers and traditional, Gründerzeit buildings and I'm not sure why it does this.

I'm 100% sure that it's not the game replacing the default style with the built-in European one since I have a separate district for that; it's pretty dang obvious that bright, flashy neon signs written in German isn't a part of the base game...My only logical conclusion is that this mod is somehow overwriting vanilla assets, which is a bummer.

If anyone has a solution, bar unsubscribing, that would be greatly appreciated!

I havent had this downloaded in years but its so ingrained into my game I can't remove it. Density is ruined

I came back to admit that I was wrong/was blaming this mod for something unrelated as well as to help those having the same issue.

If you're having the issue where you can't make this style go away and it's overwriting your other styles, I have the answer.The vanilla game sets specific architecture styles to specific maps. Some maps are "European" by default. The game will override your style mods to place what it feels is "correct" for that particular map and you're most likely getting the Vanilla European style and mistaking it for this mod. You can turn this style off in the mod menu,but if you use a "European" map, it will still overlay the European buildings anyway. The only way to fix this is to download an "Environment Changer" mod that allows you to override the built-in style set for that particular map.

This mod overwrites densely populated housing. Don't use this mod unless you want every densely populated area to look like Berlin... ruined my build.

DoobiousD You can use Mixed Use Ploppables using RICO Revisited.
Search for Mixed Use on the Workshop.

Das ist solch eine Hammer Leistung. Danke dir 1000 Mal. Ok, Berlin elaubt das Spiel einfach nicht, weil Commercial nicht als erster Stock in einem High Density Res. fungieren kann. Trotzdem, ich freue mich schon richtig.
