IMDC M-8 Puma

"May I introduce, our new infantry fighting vehicle. It has two blocks armor plating, mag bumper suspension, an automatic rocket launcher turret, and total seating for one. Gentlemen, this is the M9 IFV! I like to call it the Puma."


The M-8 Puma is a medium armored combat and reconaissence vehicle. It is equipped with a conveyored missile turret, and can be reloaded by a Dragonfly or other vessels via the cargo hatch on top. With a weight of about 24 tons, the Condor Gunship is able to deploy two Pumas at once on a planetary surface. Additionally the Puma can overcome most obstacles with its 8 battery driven turbines or be dropped midair and land safely.

The Puma features an inner layer of heavy armor for the front and the sides and an outer layer of light armor as a buffer for smaller hits. However it is not so well armored at the top and rear.

The Puma is fully remotely controllable with 2 cameras, a light gatling gun and a missile turret. For the use on planets with hostile or no atmosphere, an oxygen system is installed in the front of the vehicle.
